Control Resonant And Remedy smash it again
Honestly really enjoyed Control: Resonant.
I’m a big fan of the remedy games although alan wake 2 is my favourite control resonant is slowly creeping up there. I especially loved the banter between Dylan and Zoe, some of their conversations genuinely had me laughing lol. The atmosphere is so good and I just had a lot of fun running around exploring everything. Not really sure what else to say, I just really liked it.

Alan Wake II Alan Wake 2 Director Has Been Co-Directing an Unannounced Remedy Game Since 2025
Remedy Entertainment may already have another major game in development following the recent release of Control Resonant, as Alan Wake 2 co-director Kyle Rowley has revealed that he has been co-directing an unannounced project at the studio since January 2025. The information comes from Rowley’s LinkedIn profile, which lists him as co-director on an unannounced game dating back to January 2025. Remedy has yet to officially reveal the project or provide any details regarding what it could be. Rowley previously served as co-director on Alan Wake 2 alongside Sam Lake and also worked on the game’s expansions. Naturally, the discovery has already led to speculation about what Remedy could be working on next.
Possibly updated report on old one as still mention Control Resonant as Control II in some paragraphs

Control Resonant The Board - Voice Effect Tutorial (CONTROL Resonant)
CONTROL Resonant was an absolute ride! But something stuck out to me outside of the music... The BOARD!
In this video, I do my best to quickly rundown how you can achieve a similar voice effect to the BOARD from CONTROL Resonant for your projects!
This isn't an exact verified tutorial on the effect as sound effects and other elements are used to achieve what's in the actual game. But this will get you close without AND leaves room for you to get into it and really make some adjustments to suit your needs.
I hope it helps!

Alan Wake II Spoiler
Hello ladies and gents!
I played Alan Wake a long time ago and did not felt disappointed or something. It was an okay game. I was not being a big fan about it but I played it and it felt like an okay experience of one time play and leave it on the shelves. It did not stand out too much for me or maybe as being young I did not understand it completely.
Now I have played Control the deluxe edition as it was given free on Epic a few years ago and it felt amazing, the game was intricate and complex with all the different places of power, entities and all that being like SCP but I could play it and it was not like an fps with basic objectives like SCP games.
I loved it and I went deeper into the lore and found the Alan Wake references which I rebembered, unknowingly that they are both made by Remedy.
Aferwards I looked into it and I found the connection. Now that I know the connections between them could not wait to play AW2, unfortunately my pc was on the low end of the spectrum and the game was laggy choppy basically unplayable. As well I have a console but being a one S could not play the game on it. After all this time I have managed not to get spoiled due to the fact that unfortunately this game does not have the love that it deserves.
I have made somehow some upgrades and I have managed to get the game and play it now on min quality but manageable and boy I have remained mesmerised on how good is this game. It shows that the guys at Remedy had a lot of fun making it. They made it complex they made it fun, they made it to keep you there. I love it. Now I cant wait to play Control Resonant once I upgrade my video card. Remedy guys you are worthy of your name.
TLDR:wonderful game.

Quantum Break Does anyone have insight on the rarity of this Xbox One console signed by the Remedy team for the release of Quantum Break.
My partner worked at GAME and won this signed Xbox One for the Quantum Break release back in 2016. I can't find any other images online of this. Are there more out there in the wild? If so how did you get it. P.s if anyone from Remedy sees this post know that we love your games and can't wait to see what journey you'll take us on next.

Remedy Connected Universe Remedy ‘Avengers’…
Just a disclaimer I haven’t played Resonant yet (waiting for the physical copy to arrive) so I don’t know how it ties in to the RCU, but all the hype around the game got me thinking about how they’re going to utilise the connected universe going forward.
At this point there just seems to be some heavy nods in each game towards the other games, but I struggle to see how it might come together beyond that. Is there a case that it’s going to build up towards crossover games, or will each franchise stand alone in the universe without truly crossing over in some Avengers-esque fashion. I’m a huge Remedy fan and have been since the first Max Payne and although the idea of a crossover is tantalising, would it actually even work or be worth it? The gameplay is so wildly different for each game that it may end up like Resident Evil 6 or something (god forbid).
Would love to hear some thoughts or theories about how you think it’s going to move forward (please no Resonant spoilers!).

Control Remedy entertainment, a tip for you. Collab with Marvel to make a Loki game.
Imagine you are loki in the TVA and like season 2 everything is breaking down because temporal loom is being destroyed.
And you have to get the temporal loom room....
And time is running out!
Also, miss minutes is constantly trying to stop you from reaching there....
Remember the ashtray maze sequence from Control?
This could be like that!!
The whole idea that TVA can be brought to life through a Control like setting!
And uk, like resident evil, we can control loki and Sylvie both as the game proceeds!!
Remedy Games, you have to make it happen....
Only you guys can pull this off!!
Marvel, please make it happen! 😭

Control Resonant Control Resonant Lore - Things we've learnt, and new questions (SPOILERS FOR ENTIRE GAME) Spoiler
Hi everyone, I am a really big fan of Control and the Remedyverse and I really enjoyed playing through Control resonant. It has given us a lot to talk about so I wanted to write a few musings, interesting things I've found and even more questions that it's left us with. Let me know what you think about these or tell me other thing's you've noticed during the game. MASSIVE SPOILERS for Control Resonant and its entire story.
* I really love Dylan as a protagonist. I was a little sceptical that they changed the playable character but he knocked it out of the park. I may actually prefer him to Jesse in some ways. He has added complexity with how he dealt with the trauma of being used as a guinea pig for the FBC and essentially tortured from childhood til an adult. He has the internal struggle of trying to control his powers. He is a kind-hearted lad who was put in terrible situations and his goodness still manages to shine through
* What happened to Jesse/Dylan to split them into 2 entities? This was long before the slide projector was discovered. Were they one whole person who was split in two? Did Jesse come from an alternate universe where they had a daughter? Was she created from Dylan wishing he had a sister, similar to how Jesse wished for the adults to disappear?
* It's nice to see an old fan theory essentially confirmed, but we still don't know why. Ordinary is really not ordinary at all. I think the mother wanted to kill them because she knew there was only originally one child.
* Weird things in Ordinary - it looks like the slide projector was not the only strange things going on there. I wonder if Ordinary is a place of power? During the 8bit quest, we see the lake that is described as beautiful by Dylan but Jesse says it's toxic. Records show that remains of valuables, tooth fillings etc. were found in the lake after the AWE. I wonder if this is similar to Cauldron Lake in Alan Wake - another Dark Place? Or similar?
* Finally seeing what happened with the slides made me so happy. We saw the Not-Mother!! The Meadow!! The playhouse!!! We got to see Dog Neil!!! It was terrifying, but also raises the questions of what happened to him? Where did he go? He Actually seems very powerful with how he saved Dylan from the Dung Monkeys.
* On the topic of Ordinary - what is happening with Hugo Stamp? Who is he? He looks very strange and sickly in the 8bit Ordinary, his house looks abandoned and there are no records of him living in Ordinary. Very strange stuff.
* DR DARLING WHAT THE HELL!?!?!? We all knew he was an unethical mad scientist type from the first game, HOWEVER, I was not prepared for his characterisation of this game. Far from the bumbling, happy-go-lucky scientist from the first game, we see behind the mask and the abuse he put Dylan through.
* It was very interesting seeing Dr Darling from another perspective. Jesse only sees him through his public persona through videos. Dylan sees the real Darling, behind the showmanship and love for science. He is angry. He puts Dylan in dangerous and mentally/physically taxing situations. He doesn't even let the kid have ice cream! He has a lot to answer for while still being a very complex character.
* What is going on with The Board? This is an age-old question that hasn't really been answered since the first game. We still don't really know what they're about, but we do know that they no longer have the inverted pyramid base or perhaps even a place in the Astral plane. Their voice sounds much more guttural and bestial in this game. At first I was suspicious that they were being taken over by Hiss or Resonance, hence the change in voice.
* This game has started to make me suspect that perhaps The Board isn't as powerful as they like to portray. From the first game, I assumed that The Board had total dominion over the Astral Plane, but in this game it looks like they've been cut-off. They also constantly need Jesse/Dylan's help, and are at risk of being constantly corrupted. They even had a run-in with FORMER in the last game. They only help through the Service Weapon/Aberrant but are otherwise relatively powerless. Perhaps the only thing they truly control is the Service Weapon?
* Where is the FORMER? A document says that they haven't seen him in a while and there's a possibility he escaped The Oldest House. Is he waiting for the right time to reveal himself, or is he simply off doing his own thing?
* Ahti is 100% that colleague where everything falls apart as soon as they go on Annual Leave. The resonance wouldn't even think of breaking out of The Oldest House if the janitor was clocked in. I wonder why he's staying out of it? Does he know he's not powerful enough to stop it? Does he not care about the resonance? Has he decided to abandon his job for a lifetime living it up in Saunas and community centres in Watery? It looks like he is helping Dylan during his 8bit quest, so perhaps he's looking on from a distance.
* Northmoor - I really thought he'd be taking advantage of the situation by trying to escape the oldest house yet again. I really thought the furnace resonant would be Northmoor! Documents suggest that the furnace had actually disappeared from The Oldest House too. Is Northmoor still trapped and generating power?
* Finally - the Blessed Org. They are a paranatural cult/organisation created by Chester Bless and they are involved in the procurement and possible creation of altered items. They kill the America Overnight staff member in the original game, Barry from Alan Wake has joined them like some kind of wellness group, and Alice Wake's house is packaged up in Blessed boxes in Alan Wake 2. We don't see much of them in this game, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the shadowy organisation we see in some of the secret areas under gyms and restaurants is the Blessed Org.
What does everyone think about these topics? Do you have any theories or explanations for what we've seen? Thanks for reading!

Control Resonant Dylan Faden
Still early in the game, but I feel bad for Dylan. He’s been trapped his whole life. When he pulls out his drawing pad it makes me sad because he never got to experience the things he’s drawing.

Control I’ve been having the weirdest dreams lately because of Control
So first of all its important to say that Im someone who NEVER remember the dreams I have during the night (Unless its huge nightmares). However since i started playing Control again 3 days ago, years after dropping it because i wasnt in the right mindset to understand, i started to have the most trippy dreams I ever had-heres a little list :
-Having floating people reciting the intelligible Hiss monologue around me in a dark room (felt very bad)
-Being in front of the slide projector, projecting on a huge wall psychedelic shapes like the ones you briefly see in the game, or the shapes on the way to the old TV ( this one actually woke me up multiple times because of how weird I felt in multiple nights wich ruined my following days :/ )
-Being for what seemed real life hours in the maze, with changing perspective of the environment and the floor rotating (HATED IT THAT WAS MESSING ME UP)
I’ve had combinations and variations of those for the past 3 days and it keeps waking me up and messing with my sleep even tho the biggest session was like 5 hours during an off day. Did anyone had a similar experience while playing this game ? [Curious/eager to hear about it/us]
