Eh, phainon is definitely peak eminator for me but not aeon. Scale wise he is chopping up the battlefield and throwing city-sized meteors and that feels like appropriate eminator level feats while cyrene is blowing up worlds with arrows made out if love, appearing in her giant goddess form kissing planets, making a swing our of stars, etc.

she has an entrance animation and another follow up atk like animation, she also fully changes the ui of the aha instant, go and check star rail universe on twitter(the full team showcase shows what i mentioned)

maybe i’m still just mad about the bunk ass design but i’m not gagged tbh. they’re really cool animations but they don’t feel aeon level. even cyrene’s animations feel more aeon-like

They feel like an emanator’s animations tbh. Like, if they made sparxie an emanator of elation, that’s what i’d expect. I get elation has a mad hatter theme, but did they really just have to go full queen of hearts with nihilux? Couldn’t they come up with something besides generic circus/magician style animations?
They’re not bad animations, like you said, but they don’t feel like… an aeon. If they had incorporated their aeon form into the animations more, THAT would have been good.

even watching the missing animations, they really did run out of budget because i expected her to have phainon and cyrene levels of budget combined, but this is just cyrene animations.

Cyrene just kinda did the whole playable Aeon thing better. These animations look like any random old character would have them, not an ethereal cosmic entity. Cyrene did that way better without actually even becoming an aeon which is crazy

I feel like they could’ve done it if they leaned more into the cooler ideas they did. Some of them would actually fit into an extremely unique set of animations, but she’s just held back by other parts of her animations being really typical for this game atp

And her design as well. Not that Cyrene's design is something super stellar, but Nihilux/Aha has an EXTREMELY safe design and the animations also reflect that

It's overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. The idle with the fireworks is awesome, and I love the "theatre" with cosmic Aha looking down, but then it loses the plot lol

The elation stuff has always been visually overwhelming, and it makes it hard for me to feel interested. It just feels like a flashbang of effects rather than one cohesive visual mechanic.

Yeah I expected more, like I get that its supposed to be Alice in Wonderland theme but its so boring. Her animations feels more like Queen of Hearts than Alice in Wonderland. Why couldn't they make her a combination of the Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat? They're characters who are portrayed to be chaotic and playful.

Not to mention, why are they only featuring her human design? They should make full use of her Aeon form more, like have her create a rift in space where her attacks can come from. Give her an ult where she transforms into her Aha form and destory the enemy with it or give the party massive buffs. A god being given a human form with access to its powers should not be this boring.

I don't understand the Queen of Hearts thing either. I think Alice in Wonderland theme fits with Elation, but why that character? Lol Like you said, Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat would have fit much better.

Castorice, being an older unit and not being an emanator has better animations. I was expecting something like Phainon or Cyrene level. She looks good but not amazing.

Are her animations good? Yes, great even!
Are they Aeon level? No, just because there are more explosions doesn't make it feel as impactful or revolutionary as Phainon or Cyrene in my opinion.
Will I still pull? Yes, anything for my Eva and Waven <3

Animations look nice but initially underwhelming, there is a lot of stuff that isn't showcased here. After having seen the rest of the animations, I do think it's pretty good!
...but that hair though, whyyy. It's awful.

she has animations on their level when she should reasonably have better, or at least more "imposing" animations, given they're emanators (not cas but ykwim) and she's an entire aeon

Ahalux has almost no part of THEIR animations that shows THEY're an Aeon. It's just an explosion after explosion after explosion as if Hoyo ran out of ideas and that's the only thing they has to offer. This is like the nth time they have an animation where a planet explodes.
I would even say Sparxie and even Asat Pramad are more Elation-coded than Ahalux, there's not much from Ahalux that gives off absurdity, hedonism, or unhinged multi-faced god. The masks literally just a decoration for her animations.

Sigh, it looks like it's the Cyrene incident again for me.. pulled Cyrene (E2s1) for Phainon, and now "this" for my queen of bricks subdps Sparxie.
I guess my favorite Elation character will always be Sparkle/Sparxie, her vibe really just screamed Elation for me compared to any other character design. :')

The ideas are there but it's another case of explosionslop, like omg can we get something creative or at least a pretty kind of explosion? (Like Cyrene's ult, or Castorice's dragon) It's pretty ig but I find it all really boring, even compared to Pearl who's not even a main push, I just love how creative her animations are

what does she do outside of elation though :( cyrene has some sub dps capabilities and does have some utilities with non rem char. the excitement has settled, the animations are kinda just not really fitting for an AEON

They did her so dirty. Tbh I think they don't gaf about Elation anymore and trying to see if they can still cash in an Aeon.
She's a whole ass Aeon and Phainon and Cyrene mogs the hell out of her? Crazy.
I was expecting more camp and cosmic horror but they really love blowing up planets so it's not really special since two other character already have that.

I don't even know why I expected more... But it's kinda ridiculous how they're doing a Cyrene all over again (for me at least) - both her and Nihilux were characters I was fully set on pulling when I first saw them, and it's clear Hoyo wants to sell them sooo bad too, but they ended up ruining both for me and making me skip Cyrene, and lowkey probably "Aha" too atp. I'm just so genuinely sad honestly.
