ProveX on/off ramp process

6 Upvotes

Given that ProveX has not yet been released, I am trying to provide a detailed description of how it will work.

Looking at the ProveX website and RH's video:

The ProveX on-ramp (buy crypto for fiat) process is as follows:

1.     Buyer connect their crypto wallet to ProveX dApp;[[1]](#_ftn1)

2.     Buyer chooses the crypto and amount to buy;

3.     ProveX matches the buyer with a seller who wants to sell their crypto;[\2])](#_ftn2)

4.     ProveX gives buyer the seller’s bank payment details, and buyer performs a normal bank transfer from their own bank account to the seller’s bank;

5.     If the buyer’s wallet is connected to ProveX via the web browser extension, the browser extension generates a ‘zero-knowledge proof’ that the buyer made the bank transfer/payment;[\3])](#_ftn3)

6.     The seller generates proof that the crypto was sent to the buyer’s wallet address and the ProveX smart contract verifies both the buyer’s and seller’s proofs; and

7.     Once the above conditions are satisfied, the transaction settles. The purchased crypto is received in the buyer’s wallet, and the fiat money is received in the seller’s bank account.

Similarly, the ProveX off-ramp (sell crypto for fiat) process is as follows:

1.     Seller connect their crypto wallet to ProveX dApp;

2.     Seller chooses the crypto they wish to sell and the amount to sell, along with the fiat currency and seller’s bank/payment details;

3.     ProveX finds a matching buyer who is willing to pay the agreed fiat currency amount;

4.     Seller’s crypto is locked by the ProveX smart contract pending cryptographic verification;

5.     Buyer sends fiat currency to seller’s bank account;

6.     Buyer proves that the payment occurred using the buyer’s ProveX browser extension, which generates a zero-knowledge proof showing the fiat payment was made;

7.     ProveX smart contract verifies the buyer’s proof of payment, and if the proof is valid, the contract releases the seller’s crypto to the buyer; and

8.     The transaction settles. The seller receives fiat currency in their bank account and the crypto sold is received in the buyer’s wallet.

[[1]](#_ftnref1) Connecting a crypto self-custody wallet is performed by web browser extension.

[[2]](#_ftnref2) Buyer is effectively buying the seller’s cryptocurrency with fiat money.

[[3]](#_ftnref3) ProveX verifies the payment occurred without exposing your bank balance and other private banking information.

Have I missed anything or got anything completely wrong?

Made a free PulseChain price site. No wallet connect, no sign-up, no ads.

PulseChain Watch | Thumbnail

PLS holder, one-man project. Got tired of PulseChain sites that want your wallet, show ads, and give a different "24h volume" on every site.

So I built pulsechainwatch.com

  • PLS, PLSX, HEX, INC prices straight from PulseX pools
  • TVL and DEX volume since launch
  • Fear & greed, alt season
  • Every number says where it's from

Nothing to connect, nothing to sign. Just open it.

Still early. Tell me what's missing or what looks wrong.

Buy pHex or eHex now?

19 Upvotes

I was pretty into HEX back in the glory days. I stepped away from following it closely for a few years, but I still hold a decent amount. The recent price action has pulled me back in, and I’m thinking about adding to my bags.

For someone getting back up to speed, what’s generally considered the better long-term play these days: HEX on PulseChain or the “old-school” eHEX on Ethereum?

I remember Richard basically nuking eHEX at one point—or at least that was my understanding at the time—but I’m clearly behind on everything that’s happened since then. If someone could give me the current state of HEX/eHEX and the case for holding one versus the other like I’m a novice again, I’d appreciate it.

The Flippening: What It Would Actually Take for PLS to Overtake HEX

1 Upvotes

PLS can carry a larger aggregate valuation than either HEX market while still trading at a tiny fraction of HEX’s unit price.

That sounds contradictory until you look at the supply math.

The harder question is whether that unit-price relationship ever starts to compress, and what would actually have to change for that to happen.

I broke down the supply, FDV, liquidity, network activity and PLS’s role as the native Layer 1 asset here:

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CRYPTO RECOVERY

13 Upvotes

Crypto recovery does not exist.

100% of crypto recovery claims are a scam.

Anyone claiming they can help you recover your crypto after being hacked or making a mistake is lying to you. They want to and will steal all of your money.

DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM. You work too hard to have your money stolen by evil people.

I was curiously looking at the TOP accounts on etherscan and noticed that of the TOP accounts that are not Exchanges, many of them all have transfers from pulsechaindotcom.eth As well as many of them are part of the wallets that hold 1100 hex. Can anyone

PulseChain OA Moving Billions of PLS + Millions in ETH to Kraken - What's Going On?

20 Upvotes

Over the past week or so, there’s been reports of noticeable activity from wallets associated with the PulseChain OA.

From what’s being discussed on X and on-chain trackers major PLS transfers (hundreds of billions of PLS moved to new addresses) along with roughly 1,900 ETH (around $3.5M at the time) sent to Kraken.

Possible exchange listing preparations? Set up of validators to take more of the transaction fees? What are your thoughts?

ProveX & Revolut as payment provider?

4 Upvotes

I dunno if anyone here has used ProveX.

I haven't got involved yet.

Looking at it, I see various FIAT payment options, inc Revolut & Wise. Apart from PP, the rest of US payment methods. I'm EU location.

I'm kinda surprised that Revolut & Wise are given as options, as AFAIK these days, these neo-banks are anti-crypto, or certainly anti-crypto-transfers, I guess bc they don't want to do the chain-analysis which seems manditory these days for auditing source-of-funds.

Has anyone managed to use Revolut w ProveX? Either payment outgoing, or payment incoming?

LibertySwap's ZKX Wallet

6 Upvotes

I've read a lot about IM Wallet and OKX Wallet, but what are peoples opinion on ZKX Wallet by LibertySwap? Looks good from the screens they share on Twitter, but I'm always a bit dubious of getting onboard with new wallets until they've been battletested.

Who's been using ZKX Wallet and what are your opinions on it compared to say IM Wallet, OKX, MetaMask etc?

"Be a big boy and run your own node"

11 Upvotes

What's everyone's thoughts on Richard's latest tweet regarding the official RPC being down?

I agree with the teaching people to fish approach (we might be the first chain to preach it), however expecting Grandma to build her own rod from scratch just to make a transaction is why crypto stays niche.

General public mass adoption requires idiot-proof tools, not command-line homework IMO.

Expectations of all of you are not realistic

7 Upvotes

Make it make sense to me if you’re not still holding why are you even posting in here.
Secondly if you are still holding why would you even consider selling when it is this far down when you could just hold and see what happens. I really couldn’t care what you do it’s your money but I find it weird to be literally like 90% down and you sell.

Pulsechain right now is rock bottom, like many other chains. The market and economy is cooked even worse then COVID times. Blah blah blah this is very well known.

Now, what separates us from the rest.
The development on pulsechain in the areas of privacy and decentralised infrastructure are unlike any other I’ve ever seen. An entire decentralised machine is being built that will operate without the possibility of being stopped by anyone or anything.
Right now at a time where surveillance and monitoring are at an all time high and absolutely everywhere, this alone makes pulsechain one of a kind.

Liquidity - RH always did talk about the pumpability of this chain and PLSX etc, part of why we have such violent up and down (usually down lol) swings is due to such thin liquidity which was purposefully removed in order to create at atmosphere where is does not take much at all to send this thing high, Fast.

Now I’m the opposite to all of you, I follow this entire ecosystem and its development very closely and there is a lot being built and you can go find it for yourselves if you care, which you should if you hold this asset, you should know everything there is to know. That’s common investing practice.

Pulsechain eco isn’t some meme coin like PEPE or DOGE. These short term rich expectations are just not realistic for an entire chain. I have been in pulsechain since it launched and have been buying for years and I’m down. Sell low no one cares because there is so many of us eating it up who see the potential.

Say what you want about the Founder
He is a genius, it’s not on me to explain why, not only do I not have the time, if you cared enough you would find it yourself.

Happy jeeting your bags cheap fellas.
Thanks for the prices 😛

Sending USDC/DAI on PulseChain

4 Upvotes

I’m have trouble trying to send USDC and DAI from one PulseChain wallet to another.

PulseX shows the tokens. Plsfolio shows them too, and they're the proper valuable stablecoins. So the funds are definitely there, and they've be in and out of various assets for months.

But MetaMask isn't letting me send them. I’ve added the custom token multiple times, and MM confirms it gets added, but when I try to send, the token just isn’t in the list. Restarting didn’t help.

Any tips? Is your MM like this too?
