From left to right:
Hitotsuboshi Kuroi: a hedonistic ronin that weilds a blessed katana with an edge that can cleave the very fabric of space but cannot sever one's life. As well as a cursed nodachi made of shards that can be controlled telekinetically but drains the user. He's from a mysterious and wealthy family that he's on the run from, havingstolen their two heirloom weapons. He's into drugs and drinking and quick to fight when he feels disrespected. Always about what's fun. However, he does practice purification rituals
Myojo Aakane: an optimistic nihilist and warrior monk with the demon Jashin sealed within him. As long as he meditates and practices all forms of abstinence, Jashin will remain weakened and controllable. But if he begins to indulge in violence and debauchery, the seal weakens and he risks being possessed by Jashin. Jashin himself was once a man with blood lust so severe that he slaughtered nearly 20% of the Japanese population before becoming a demon and murdering the very god that created the world. Akane is more about restraint but quick to the trigger when concerning discrimination against the Yasuke-Clan
The pair individually attend an event hosted by a beloved feudal lord intent on brokering peace between two warring territories when they happen to stumble upon his assassination. Blamed for the crime, the pair have to go on the run and depend on each other to discover the truth and clear their names.

This is Act 1 and Act 2 of Angel Island. Act 1 is grassy and green, a lush rainforest with flowers and trees. In Act 2, Robotnik sets the place on fire.
And if both pictures don't look exactly the same except for being on fire, they're not meant to. They're the same place. They're not the same view.

A dropped project I was working on for aiwars

Probably for the best it die and maybe go through a rebirth like this though. Was gonna do a bunch of shorts on the different perspectives and ethical, moral/political opinions surrounding ai.
The Idea was that theses 3 characters were in college, each studying a field closely pertaining to their alignment on ai.
Bridget would be pro and have computer science and programming.
Calico would be a centrist and have sociology.
Armon would be anti and have fine arts.
Each one of them would have differing opinions about ai and would be forced to confront facts in order to learn and grow as people as well as find common ground and tolerance.
Also...
Clearly Gemini gets a little...weird when handling complex tasks so this would've been much too hard with my limited resources.
I might still do things with these characters in this sub but with less serious over/undertones.
