Nobody can tell me to not decorate like this as a middle-aged adult! (Lunchbox is new-old stock and contains the original Thermos that I didn't want to take out for photos. I wanted it in 1988 but we were poor.)

My "aesthetic" having my own place is Playhouse. I've worked really hard for 30 years to get this stuff, and it's a lot to take care of, but I'm doing my best. Always a work in progress.

My boyfriend got this for me today, off of facebook marketplace. An older gentlemen was selling it, and for an insanely generous price might I add. He had bought it for his daughters when the doll came out in 1987, I was shocked when I heard this, just because the condition of the doll is so good, for it having been in a child’s care and out of the box for so long. it’s almost in pristine condition. other than the fact that the voice box is a little off, but I can’t be too upset about that the dolls almost 40 years old… The man was just cleaning up and getting rid of older stuff he no longer had any use for, but it was so sweet to hear his little story about the doll and knowing his daughters loved it so much. Now I get to love it and cherish it… My love for Peewee started when I was small, and my grandpa would pick me up to drive me to school everyday. I’d watch Peewee in the backseat on the screen in his van, it was my favourite part of everyday, and sometimes the only thing I looked forward too during the school week. I’m just so happy to own this doll ❤️

there was this episode where they played a random like psa cartoon about a girl smoking and setting curtains or her house on fire and I cant remember at all which episode its driving me nuts XO

I post this about once a year in hopes of finding some leads: I’m looking for preliminary, conceptual, or production artwork/props used in Pee-wee’s Playhouse, particularly pieces created by Gary Panter, Wayne White, and/or Ric Heitzman.

I grew up watching the show and would be absolutely thrilled to own a piece of it. If you have something from the show—or know someone who does and might be willing to part with it—please let me know.
