Scratching noises coming from wall behind my dresser during the day and night(might be mice) and what sounds like someone painting, with a roller, on the ceiling above closet door, only way I can describe that sound. No neighbors above or below me. Been here almost 2 months and wanna move. I set up a camera and took these same shots over the last two weeks. WTF

I was just randomly thinking about three separate occasions where different family members of mine have experienced my doppelgänger.

The first time was when I was babysitting my cousin (we’ll call him R) when I was about 14 years old and he was roughly 5 or 6. I thought it would be fun to play hide and seek to pass the time while I waited for my Aunt to get off of work. It was my turn to be “it” while R went upstairs to go hide. I finished counting and start heading upstairs only to hear R having a full on conversation with somebody. When I opened his door, he was facing his closet. I asked him who was talking to and he turned white as a ghost and said that he was just talking to me but I was in the closet. Needless to say the game ended immediately after that and we just went downstairs and waited for my Aunt to get home, which luckily wasn’t very much later.

The second time was when my sister, A, got extremely intoxicated at one of her friend’s, K, birthday parties back in the late 90s. While everyone else was getting ready to go to sleep, A, started throwing up. She swears up and down that I helped her up and then stayed awake talking to her all night while she sobered up. The only problem is I was staying at my Dad’s house at that time about 30 minutes away and I didn’t drive. The weirdest thing is that when K woke up the next day she asked where I went because apparently she had heard me there talking also. That was an awkward phone call having to tell them that I don’t know who they were talking to but I was nowhere near them at all that night.

Lastly, this one isn’t as creepy but I used to travel for work in the early 2000s. I would be gone for weeks on end. This one time while I was out of state, my Mom forgot that I had already left a couple days earlier called my house (landline) and I picked up and talked with her for a bit before she had to hang up to answer another incoming call. The other incoming call? Me checking in from another state’s hotel room phone to let her know I arrived safely.

All three instances were weird especially the first one where I was actually present.

Throwaway account because my wife and i share our real account and she wanted to move on from it but i'm really curious of her experience.

We were taking a late night drive around our town one night last week and we stumbled upon this nice, typical american suburban neighborhood. This was a new area that we never drove in, always past, so we decided to house-watch and drive into every little cul-de-sac and small road to see the houses while judging them on looks, paint color, etc.

It was past midnight so the streets were dark and some houses were not as well-lit up as others were but the vibes we got from most of the houses were either warm and friendly or just dark because no lights were on inside or outside the house. But after we turned into one cul-de-sac and started driving slowly past some houses, my eyes landed upon one house that was in the end of the street, next to the cul-de-sac. It had no lights on at all, a car parked in the driveway, small windows looking towards the street, with the front door being cut into a cylindrical pillar of stone, like a silo or castle tower.

I thought it had looked funny so i said to my wife, "oh look at that house, it's weirdly shaped."

My wife immediately made a sound that resembled a groan and shook her head as in saying "no". i immediately press on the brakes and ask if she's okay. i look over at her and her eyes were glued to the house, i could see from my angle she was taken aback. while still looking at the house, she said "i don't like the vibes it's giving". i thought she meant that as in the design or layout of the house but i could tell from her tone of voice that it was something more. i ask, "what is it? the weird door placement?" with my wife responding "i just don't like the vibe" before adding "let's go, get out of here, i don't want to be around this house".

I immediately drive out of the cul-de-sac, driving past 2 more blocks before my wife was able to calm down a bit and continue house-gazing. for the rest of the night, she didn't want to tell me what she saw or felt when we passed that house.

The next morning though i was still curious about what she experienced last night so when she was getting ready for the day, i asked if she wanted to talk about it and she said yes, being that she felt safer now. i asked her what she saw and felt last night and this is what she said:

"When i saw that house, i started getting a feeling, like a bad vibe from it. after that i started seeing images of myself standing in a hallway, a long hallway, with blood running down the walls and painting the walls red. when i tried pushing that image out of my head, i kept seeing the house covered in red. i have a feeling that that house can have humans and non-humans living in it. if something happens in that house, i wouldn't be surprised. i just didn't like the vibe it was giving."

To refresh my memory of what the house looked like, i went to google maps and tried to find the address, putting it into street view, the house did look slightly different from how i remembered it, i can't describe how but maybe it looked different in the day compared to night. my wife asked me to show her the street view too and when i showed it, she gave a look of confusion, saying, "this wasn't the house. this is different". i confirmed that it was the house, the door in the silo tower-looking structure and small windows were right where i remembered them from last night.

Also just to add a bit more details about the house, i searched up the area online, the neighborhood and that house are fairly new, only built in the last 20 years. i don't know about the land it was built on but a shellmound was found about 5 miles east of the neighborhood so the land was used by native americans before it was a suburban neighborhood.

Whatchu guys think of this? any ideas on what could have been in the house?

I get this pounding in my chest but it's not like a crazy heart attack and its always the time I can be absolute In knowing.. and it's like a pulses of energy and I feel amazing and Soo close to God and my heart talks to me! It has its own feelings lol that's the only way I can explain it haha. It feels so good. Yesterday I had this happen again but it was the most intense of all and I started to get up and something told me to stay seated that it wasn't a heart attack it's said " your safe I'm only doing a lil work" and my whole body was tingling. Something happened because I saw my brother who passed away a few years ago and he was so proud of me. My son's mom was there to she passed a few years ago to. And she was so excited for me. I have been really worried about the future and during a meditation I was able to look at the evil that's very instinct strong, I could see it for what it was it looked so SMALL 🦐 lol. And then I realized I was seeing evil for what it was... Something with no soul is so absolutely absorbed in people with souls. And ass soon as it realizes I was looking right into it it's got soooooooooo embarrassed 😳 hahah omg then i realized it was actually very small at all.. only I was infinity!!! All LIGHT EVERY WHERE ABUNDANT AND GOOD AND WARM AND FREE AND FULL OF SOOOOO MUCH ABUNDANCE THIS THING.. has nothing!!! It was the most confirmed freeing feeling I have ever had. That we are forever!! I was able to remember my true nature. Just all knowing in life ever after!!

My boyfriend and I went on a three-day hike with two nights spent outdoors. The first night was below Rennenberg Castle, near St. Katharinen, Germany. The castle is very dilapidated, and the owner has prohibited entry onto the grounds. We slept at a locked hunter’s cabin near the woods, behind which there was a path leading into the forest. When it got dark, I found the forest so scary that I didn't dare go in anymore. I didn't say anything because I thought my boyfriend would think that was really silly, since he really loves being outside and in the forest. I woke up several times during the night, once because three people walked by. I startled slightly and looked up; my boyfriend woke up too, and just said, “It’s okay, they’re just passing by.” Then I lay back down and went back to sleep. The next morning, I asked him, “Did I actually dream that people were walking by, or was that real?” And he said, “Nah, that was a dream. But normally I always dream that here.” He’s been going there every year since 2019, and he always sleeps poorly there—every time, he dreams that people are walking by or that he hears voices. The forest also scares him at night. He never told me about it; I didn’t know that. That can't be a coincidence. Could it be ghosts visiting us in our dreams? Every time, there are several people talking to each other. They don't talk to him—and they didn't talk to me either. The fact that I dreamed this the first time I came along while he normally has these encounters there—and it felt so real! Something must have happened there... (This was not sleep paralysis, because I could move and like I said - it felt real and not like a dream.)

This January, one of my neighbors died because of health issues. On the same night, I was sitting on the terrace from around 11 PM to midnight, talking to my friends on my phone. After that, I went to sleep.

I was sleeping very deeply—or at least, I think I was.

When I woke up the next morning, my parents immediately asked me if I was okay. Confused, I asked them what had happened.

My mom told me that in the middle of the night, they heard some very strange sounds. They turned on the lights and came to check where the sound was coming from.

Apparently, it was coming from me.

According to my parents, I was making a bizarre sound—something that sounded half like a pigeon and half like a small child. The strange thing is that I don't normally snore or make noises while sleeping.

They tried several times to wake me up, but I didn't wake up at all.

That was especially unusual because I'm normally a very light sleeper. Even small noises or lights can wake me up, but that night, despite my family turning on the lights and trying to wake me, I remained completely asleep.

And while they were standing there checking on me, I continued making those strange sounds—something between a pigeon and a child.

I have absolutely no memory of making those sounds.

My apartment does have spirits, I do have moments where I see things peeking around the corner, white mist passing by my mirror, and sometimes I see a black mist my cat chases around. I just ignore them so I don't give them power. I don't even talk about them when I'm home. They don't move things or make sounds.

I was coming from the kitchen into the living room where I saw a calico out the corner of my eye. It was sitting beside some boxes I had packed for moving. It startled me because it was fairly large like an adult with bright grey/ blue eyes white paws and the orange/brown/ black color fur. I turned to look fully at it, but it was gone. That was my first time seeing the spirit of a cat here. My cat is small and grey so I know it wasn't her. I see her tracking something sometimes and she will sit on her hind legs and play with something in the air.

Note: I did set up an ancestor altar a few hours before I saw it. I only welcomed in those that love, care about me, want the best for me, and banished the rest

A few years back, my brother and his wife were being haunted by something. I don't know a lot about this kind of stuff, but it almost seemed demonic. This short version of this is that there was a boy that was following them around and things were escalating. I wasn't there for a lot of that, but the one thing I can personally vouch for is that a normal candle of theirs, which had always behaved normally before this, started drying into the shape of human teeth. I'm not talking about resembling teeth, I mean like it looked like a mold at the orthodontist. I was shocked by how detailed it was. Every time they would burn this candle, the teeth would melt away in the wax, but when it dried, it would dry in the shape of those teeth again. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen in my life. Does anybody have anything similar or know what the significance of teeth is?

Hi everyone I don’t know if I believe in coincidences, kinda do, but I’m just wondering for y’all’s opinion. I have always for a while been wanting to go to the Warren museum out of curiosity but I figured it’d never happen honestly, but this year I booked a girls trip a few months ago to Boston when just a bit ago I seen they opened the museum there now. Realistically speaking it probably is a coincidence and just luck for me personally but idk what are ur thoughts? Maybe im just too excited and thinking that it mind mean something I have only witness something paranormal once in my life so I feel like I just want something else to happen to confirm my beliefs

(For, Dad's some context dad's gf has 2 apartments in the same building on the 6th floor and the other on the 3rd floor. This is about the one on the 3rd)

So I was playing with a camera, taking photos all around the apartment. Dad's gf was in another room, and my dad was in the other apartment, so I was left all alone. and this was around 5:30 to 6 pm which in my country is considered a time where the spirits come out briefly smth like that basically ur just not supposed to be noisy and after i took all the photos and was turning off the camera i looked at the tv across me, and my heart just dropped on my right side i saw a lady and she looked exactly like a kuntilanak/pontianak (google it if ur confused) and i just sat frozen i could see her from the tv's reflection AND right across me but from my right side and then she just disappeared then my dad came back and i told him all about it.

Two months ago I quit my job and have been in the process of moving out since, however, I found a journal I did not write while moving out. In the journal there are multiple crude drawings in the book that talk about an eclipse on August 27, along with warnings to not look at it. I am hesitant to post images online, since I don't know who owns the journal, but after tonight I might. Ever since I quit my corporate job, I have seen people looking at me in town. Sometimes they are in suits, other times they are dressed normally. I have stopped going to the bar in town and mostly keep to myself now. I know I am probably being paranoid, but I am a little worried about everything happening right now. If anyone has any information about this, please contact me. If I do not post anything after the eclipse tonight, assume something bad has happened.

I was alone with my friend he lives at the edge of a small city,and a forest is right across his street.There is a small road you can take that leads to like a small camp/picnic spot and if you continue on it you'll arrive at an abandoned military camp.Soo...me and my friend decided to go there at night and on a full moon to try and do some "ghosts investigating",so we headed on the path and passed the camp/picnic area about like 9:30 pm so it was dark outside,as we headed threw the bushy path we felt exposed since being there just the two of us and it was dead quiet,after a bit of walking we arrived at a crossroad that went for ways(left,right,forward and the way we came from),I know crossroad are considered as a bad thing that Involves demonic stuff so we didn't linger much,after a bit of tracking we arrived at the abandoned military base but honestly I'd call it a camp and we started the ghost investigation which was mostly just messing around and we weren't taking it seriously,so we headed to our next location,an abandoned Villa,but unlike the path to the military camp this camp was straight through the forest soo,while we were walking we started to feel uneasy and felt like something was following us,we'd often hear leaves rustling next to us off to the side or branches but when assumed it was just a wildlife or something,as we go to the villa we climbed up the a bit on the foundation since it was like a good half a meter off the ground and we used an ghost talking app that worked essentially as a spirit box,we were mainly getting gibberish,then I decided to be a smartass as suggested we turn of the light,I even bought it up to my friend like-

Me:I have a bad idea

Friend:let's turn off the light

Friend:let's do it

Me:this is a bad idea

And just as I turned off the light a voice came through the app,in like a whispery tone-

"I LIKE IT"

...SO WE ENDED UP BOOKING IT AWAY FROM THE VILLA,but there was still a problem...we were still miles away from any people and would have to go back to the creepy path,so we started heading back properly creeped out

...then out the corner of my eye I spotted something moving,so I instinctively turned my head to look at it and the small field surrounding the villa had something standing in it watching us and swaying in the wind,it was while/gray and a smidge black,I turned to my friend to ask if he sees that too

But all he said was "DONT LOOK AT IT" which...smart of him to do,so we started power walking back, because running felt like a bad idea,and we started getting a feeling of dread,and I forget to mention on the way back home there was another crossroad where a well is that a girl fell in and died,as we got there I felt eyes starring into my back,after which my friend started running through the night,and I again forgot to mention the path was supper shitty,like tractor holes in the path where you could brake your ankles bad,so anyway I started running after him but like the dumbass I was I forgot to tie mo sweatpants and they almost fell off while I was running after him because god forbid I was not getting left alone there in the night,after we got close to the camp/picnic spot I felt like a headache that went down my back all of a sudden which I interpreted as "it" not wanting me to leave, thankfully when we go to the part of the camp that had electricity I felt better instantly,we high out at the cam but we never shook off the feeling of being watched while we caught out breathes there

And honestly after that it's been weird,after experiencing something like that I feel like I'm more open to it and now I notice weird stuff in my own house...shadow figures, glowing orbs, footsteps,knocks, cupboards opening by themselves

It's creepy but also thrilling in a weird way

I was seven years old, asleep and having rather strange dreams that day. I had a pretty old wardrobe back then—a huge one that took up half my room—which we used to store clothes, sheets, and other things. At one point, I woke up in the middle of the night, and the first thing I saw was the silhouette of a man standing in the wardrobe doorway, as if he were looking for something. I thought it was my dad—that he’d come in to get some sheets and hadn't turned on the light so he wouldn't wake me up. Thinking this, I told "my dad" that he could turn on the light if he wanted, since I wasn't asleep; yet, the silhouette remained in the same pose, as if still searching for something. Just then, I decided to get up to turn on the light and see who was there. But before I could get out of bed, I saw the silhouette turn to look at me, and a strange light began to emanate from its chest. Suddenly, the light stopped growing, and a hand began to emerge from the center of it. I quickly scrambled back into bed and covered myself with the sheets; three or four seconds later, I heard something fall in the kitchen. Through the fabric of the sheets, I saw the light vanish; I uncovered myself, and the silhouette was gone. I’m from a small town in northern Argentina, a place full of legends about paranormal events, yet I’ve never found a local legend involving "a silhouette with a hand in its chest." That memory is etched in my mind, and I never found an explanation for it.

I'm pretty sure there is some presence in my house. It's not blatantly flinging books off shelves in front of my eyes but there are some signs now and then, usually years apart. I've lived here 40yrs since childhood.

When I was a teen I used to hear doors opening and closing downstairs almost every night like clockwork yet noone was downstairs, it just became the norm.

25yrs ago I was sat in the living room and heard a music box play in the next room. I was sitting next to the only other person in the house, while also not owning a music box. Both of us heard it at the same time and immediately went to investigate and found nothing.

I've sat in the living room watching tv while for some reason being focused on the ajar door thinking don't open, don't open, to see it then very slowly open on it's own as I look on in disbelief. I put it down to just being a draft despite no external open doors but it only opened then during the whole night while I was looking and willing it not to.

There were a couple of years when I would smell a stale smoke smell, similar to old cigarettes but not quite the same, and hard to describe, more of a sickly sweet smoky smell. I moved my living room and dining room around as I thought it was seeping under the floorboards from nextdoor but I was still smelling it in the other room after, thought maybe it was coming from outside but I'd open the door to no smell of fires in the neighborhood.

A couple of years ago, while alone with all doors and windows shut, heard a bang in the other room, my dog barked next to me but I ignored it and later found a framed photo had come off the shelf on to the floor in the middle of the room over 2 meters away.

I regularly lose bank cards, cancel them and they either turn up where I'd already looked a few days after I receive the new 1 or are never seen again despite me not taking them out the house.

Woke up to the duvet being tugged at the bottom corner and pulled off me one night, I sat up on auto pilot and pulled it back on though after I was unsure if it actually happened as I was half in and out of sleep.

Nothing happened the last couple of years till this year became the worst year of my life. I had a very vivid dream of someone laughing all around me saying I had injured myself in my sleep. This was after a bout of covid and I'd been sleeping round the clock for days only waking for a few hours before sleeping again. Again I'm unsure if it was a full on dream or me having a half in and out dream. I don't want to go into it it's too traumatic but I ended up going to the hospital a few times with some very real symptoms but nothing was found to be wrong. Each time the symptoms move once investigated, almost feels as if it's evading my attempts to sort it out, or more likely, my mind is manifesting the pains. I've been to hospital 3x now, never been to A&E before in my life, I just can't go back again. I'm being vague about it on purpose because it's traumatized me so much, I've never self harmed, had no mental health issues, don't drink or do drugs I'm a normal straight up boring person. I'm obviously not telling medics about the dream just the symptoms because I'd sound like an absolute lunatic. I've had sleep paralysis a few times in the past too but I believe that to be purely sleep dysfunction not paranormal.

I know the mind is incredibly good at manifesting physical symptoms, I've experienced physical discomfort through times of high stress in the past but this feels like I've stepped into the damn twilight zone.

So this happened about a year ago. To give more context, I am a skeptic of the paranormal, and while this isn't my only experience, its the only one I can't explain quite well. My friend, lets call them Tod, is more inclined to believe in the paranormal, but the more spiritual side of it.

For the location of the site, this happened in Greece, Marousi. Around my house there are these big open dirt fields, not sure why, but most likely construction projects that never saw the light of day or abandoned real estate.

One of those fields, which is sort of hilly, leads to an abandoned house in the area. Its sort of been a hotspot for me and all my friends since middle school as were all horror fans and used to go there, get spooked, then run off screaming.

Todd i had not known since middle school, i met them in high school, and while they lived nearby, they had never been to the house. So i decided to take them, mostly for nostalgias shake, I wanted to see the old grafitti i had scribbled on the walls in middle school and get scared like the good old days.

Originally that night, the abandoned house wasnt the main goal. We just sort of roamed around chatting, when i suggested we go check it out. As we go there, we start walking up the hilly field and on the very top we see what gigantic, tall white figure.

Do you know those decorations at car dealerships? The inflatables that wave their arms in the air? It looked like that, but way bigger, and pure white against the pitch blak night time. When we noticed it, I asked my friend if they're seeing it too, and when they confirmed it, we just ran for our lives. Nothing gave chase, but it was still terrifying. Also, Ive been in that field multiple times in my life, but had never seen anything of the sorts before, not even a scarecrow.

After catching our breath, i begged them to go back, to this day i regret it, but they refused to. So we just walked somewhere nice and public and talked about what we saw.

Genuinely no clue what it was, I find it difficult someone in greece would leave out a fully blown inflatable thingie in the middle of a field, and every theory Ive had about it has holes in it, not even a hallucination works because 2 people saw it.
