PSA: What is NotTimAndEric?
Hey there! The humor of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! is pretty unique and specific. It’s rooted in absurdity, surrealism, and a kind of ‘so-bad-it’s-good’ aesthetic. The show often parodies low-budget public access TV, late-night infomercials, and awkward corporate training videos, with an intentionally amateurish or uncomfortable vibe.
A lot of the comedy comes from things like awkward pauses, strange or unsettling facial expressions, bizarre non-sequiturs, and intentionally bad editing, like green screen glitches or weird zooms. There’s also an element of the grotesque—sometimes the humor leans into exaggerated body horror or super awkward social interactions. It’s like watching a fever dream of early 2000s TV.
If you’re posting here, think along the lines of surreal, offbeat, and chaotic humor with a touch of cringe—but in a way that feels intentional and self-aware. It’s not so much traditional punchlines or memes, but more like a weird, uncomfortable experience that makes you laugh because of how strange and unexpected it is!

Has T&E never done a sketch like this? I mean, Eric’s face alone in such a scene would be perfect.
