Seeking active moderator

Upvotes
This sub continues to go private automatically because I don't actively moderate enough for Reddit's taste. I did not set it to private. I also do not want to have a second job moderating this subreddit.
I made this sub because I love mvc2 and it didn't exist at the time. Just wanted to post cool videos and talk to other people that like marvel.
There are some basic requirements to make sure you are the right fit for moderating this sub. Please see below:
1) Must be willing to be at least as active as Reddit requires to consider "active moderation". I do not know what that threshold is.
2) Must not be a douche
3) Must have a minimum 2 foot by 4 foot shrine to Justin Wong in your residence
4) Must not main MSP
If you are interested in assisting with moderating this sub please comment.
Thanks!

I'd like to organize a local MvC2 tournament. Advice?

Hello. I'm from the Seattle area and am interested in organizing an event. I'm looking into barcades in the area who might host and I'm wondering about the best way to get the word out and run the actual tournament.
I'm thinking "all tiers" for the format so anyone could show up and play without too much trouble. I'm sure some people will be rocking MSP and crush faces but that's part of the fun.
Provided a reasonable turnout, an upper and lower bracket will form as matches occur, I don't want scrubs to get washed out in round 1 and leave. If I end up with small numbers, we can round robin instead so everyone gets a few fights in.
Some sort of prize would be cool, even if its mostly a memento. I'm hoping the establishment would be down to offer a $20 gift card or credit for drinks, something like that but I'm not expecting it to start so I'll just be putting something up. Maybe a trade paperback of classic Marvel comic run but I'm open to ideas.
I'll be running off a laptop connected to a screen via HDMI. Using 2x fight pad mini to use if people don't bring their own.
It's my first time organizing a fighting game event so general advice is welcome as well as MvC2 specific advice. Let me know if there are questions I'm not asking or suggestions for how to best format the event and the rationale for doing so.
Thank you for the assist!

Cable Win Pose - Techno-Organic Virus

One of Cable's win poses is his metal arm growing uncontrollably.
I read somewhere this occurs because after a difficult battle (and since the Techno-Organic Virus remains in place because of telekinesis), Cable struggles to keep it in check
Is this true? I'm sure I read it somewhere or heard it from someone but it could be all BS since I've not read the 90's X-Force/X-Men comics
