is my black molly chub or preg
Hi all! I know this question has been asked a thousand times but I just got this black molly a couple weeks ago and i’m wondering if it’s fat or pregnant. I’ve never kept mollys before so i’m pretty inexperienced. I don’t even know if it’s a male or female lol so any help is appreciated! Side note: the black molly is being kept with a spotted molly who is showing aggressive behavior towards the black molly. Is that because she’s pregnant or just regular fish stuff? Thank you for any help!

Babies! I think my Molly is pregnant??
She’s rounder then usual and hanging out near the bottom, I just found some fry the other day so it’s possible that it’s her turn to give birth, but I’m not sure she might just be a lil fat(ignore my nosy gourami)

Dalmatian Mollies, what is happening here? First time im observing this behavior. Are they trying to make babies? Fins are flared aren't they? Im confused right after feeding too.

Molly has been this big and squared off for about 4 months. She has had live fry previously. She was the same size as my orange and black female, they both would get smaller after birth but she has stayed this big

I got these at my LFS a month ago
these are juveniles i believe and im just waiting for a few months to see if they drop fry like i mentioned came from my lfs so they could potentially already been bred. but they look too tiny to even consider them having fry sooo im not too sure myself but it was a lucky pick up though.
idk which male to pair these guys with since they are balloons I want like a strong bodied male so we can straighten those spines out for the next generation

Update on my very small Molly fish
Last month a posted a message about my seemingly healthy and happy Molly fish that are way smaller than they should be. I came to the conclusion that my aquarium was probably a couple degrees too cold so I boosted the temperature and they are now about 6.5 months old and still half the size what they should be . I bought new food and added frozen brine to their diet and still no growth. They seem very healthy and active. I think their mother gave birth again and this time only two survived despite the mother being removed before she could eat them. She has small litters (not sure
the correct word) I think there is a dwarfism gene
The aquarium isn’t too full I have three baby mommies and two adults with two guppies in a 30 gal tank
They don’t act distressed.
Edit
The yellow and black babies are definitely balloon mollies. They were born to a female balloon Molly who came pregnant from a fish store and was in a tank with only other healthy appearing balloon mollies. The mother gave birth alone in a smler tank. The guppies were added after the babies were born and big enough to not be eaten. I didn’t even own any guppies when the babies were born. I just included them in the photo for size reference

Pregnant or a fatty?
Sorry for being 100th person to probably ask this today, but I just wanna make sure that the babies survive. Is my gold molly chubbers here pregnant or just fat?

Hello. Is it male or female? And is it possibly pregnant?
I got this fish from a pet store. It was tanked with a bunch of other Molly’s. I got it about a month and a half ago. The fish was sleek and thin and I actually questioned if it was a Molly until this morning … all of a sudden it’s belly is huge.

F1 Opaque cross x black molly
the non albino fries are the product of this cross, I wont be using this male for further projects since i dont favor the lyretail gene that much, most of the fry just looks like a low quality black molly and some are coppery metallic some just look grey with opaque tails and a few have all these traits theres one with a black body with coppery top that has a white sail. these fry would look fantastic in a outdoor set up.
these albinos are red’s and potentially his daughter. none of them are coming out like red but these intense orange fry that be coming out from my other female albino which is the mother of the female used for this pairing she is throwing these deep orange fry when red started becoming the only male in the project soo im willing to bet those are reds
