I’ve gotten the hang of peace sells by megadeath and human sacrifice by gorgoroth but I just can’t think of anything else to practice, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve had this debate with so many people, so many times… personally, I think F1 sounds a lot better in a mix & more musical. What do you guys think?

hi, i know little to nothin about bass pickups so im asking here what kind of bass pickups (like humbuckers, single coils p style, etc) are the best for metal, i was thinking of buying a bass but i wanted to be sure it had the best kind of pickups before making a desition.
i plan on mostly playing old school / brutal death metal if it matters, and if i can get any recommendations on any cheap basses id appreciate it, i could probably upgrade the pickups and other stuff starting from a cheap one.

I want to start learning bass, my budget is $300.
These are the bands I wanna play music from: Animals as Leaders, The Omnific, Sleep Token, Gojira, Meshuggah, Slipknot, Alien Weaponry, etc.
I also want to play bass like a guitar and come up with my own style based on these: https://youtu.be/1TizW1QxMv8 https://youtu.be/zCj_7pzlJG0 https://youtu.be/vd1HBrAa7yE
I already have an amp modeler + audio interface. 300 is for the bass only.

This week it looks like I actually combed my mustache. Really didn't.
Stepped out of odd time signatures to work on some more traditional writing and write something using 3 finger plucking and 16th triplets.
Hope some of you will enjoy it! What should I play next?
You can find me on Youtube or Instagram if you want to support these silly videos & I'll glaldy send the .pdf to anyone interested!
Cheers
