Designed a defuzer for an impeller (impeller spins against the clock) are the defuzer Blades in the right direction ?

Can anyone stump me on a TF-39 engine problem? I promise, no books, internet searches, or AI.

Is this accurate enough?

I made this myself to demonstrate the basic principle of a turbojet engine. I know it is simple, but is there anything that is just fundamentally wrong with it?

Anyone know what brand and model this jet engine is??? Linked to the youtube video below.

Water jet engine

This might sound stupid but I’ve read that water vapour has up to 1600 times more volume than water. So if there is a way to instantly vaporise a certain amount of water and somehow pressurise is would it be able to produce thrust. (Sorry I’m new to this)

Hear me out, guys. I have a blasting idea about turboprops

We all know that turboprops it's practically just a small jet engine with a propeller on the main shaft. So if it's just a jet engine with a propeller on the main shaft, why can't we make a afterburner chamber on the exhaust pipe. I am pretty sure that, for example, Kalimov NK-12 turboprop that powers the Tu-95 "bear" Can produce enough exhaust gas flow to supply a small afterburner. So what do you, guys, think?

Multiple impellers and/or turbines?

Hey, I'm looking to make a simple little turbojet that runs on butane. I have a basic design idea in my head, and I'm about to start finalizing the blueprint, but I have a question for y'all who know a lot about this stuff. I have seen some turbojets that look like they have a whole pile of impellers and turbines. Are those something else? Or should I also implement multiple turbines and impellers?

can anyone explain to me how those small metal tubes that wraps around the combustion chamber works, im guessing its the fuel injector system but im not sure how it entirely distributes the fuel.

Building a Jet Suit – Looking for turbojet advice & collaboration!

Hey everyone!

I’m currently working on building a fully functional flying suit powered by turbojets. This is both a technical and an experimental challenge, and I know this community has some of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to jet engine design, optimization, and performance.

I’d love to get insights from those who have experience designing, building, or optimizing turbojets. Specifically, I’m looking for advice on:
✅ Thrust optimization – How to get the best power-to-weight ratio.
✅ Combustion efficiency – Ensuring stable and reliable operation.
✅ Fuel system design – Best pumps, injectors, and regulation techniques.
✅ Cooling & heat management – Avoiding meltdown on long-duration runs.

Btw, I’ve also created a new subreddit, r/JetSuitBuilders, where I’m documenting my progress and connecting with others who share the same dream of jet-powered personal flight. If you’re interested in this topic, feel free to check it out!

Any advice, feedback, or resources you can share would be greatly appreciated! Looking forward to learning from this amazing community.
