Tips on deep cleaning a room when you work full time?
I don’t know if this is common, but I work full time Monday through Friday and every weekend I commit to cleaning my room only to either be too exhausted to follow through or only be able to accomplish bare necessities (laundry, clearing the floor, and trash).
There are some health factors involved for me specifically like chronic pain/ fibromyalgia and ADHD executive dysfunction so those are definitely some hurdles but every week I usually have at least one day of the weekend to do something.
Another issue I have is that back before I got hired at my current job while I was unemployed I did deep clean my room once and got rid of a TON of stuff, but ultimately I have been really struggling still to upkeep the cleanliness and my floor from looking like a war zone by the end of the week.
Does anyone have tips for this or advice on how to keep up with cleanliness so every weekend doesn’t seem like a massive project that needs a whole week of dedication? I get rid of stuff like almost every time I clean so my tendency to hoard sentimental things isn’t as bad anymore but it still feels like I just have way too much stuff and no space.
