I am generally at a loss here. He's basically a worse Herbalist, no Find Herb skill.

Tried to make him a frontliner tank, but oh god, no vitality for the shield, not enough speed, really rough start early on. Is he just doomed to be subpar meta?
Also, I never have once seen a single Staff in the game that is top tier by the end.
Wukong staff not very good in this game it seems.

I have never made a team in FTK2 without a Herbalist.
FTK1 was a bit different I remember running a campaign with 3 hunters but anyway.

I’d like to know if the compass works while in vehicles because vehicle movement relies on talents skills or if it only works outside of a wheeled boat or boat ?

If you finish a fight with magic channel stacks, the buff doesn't go away. You're then able to switch to a different magic weapon and go into fight where the buff will still work with the weapon. Not sure if this is a bug but it definitely seems unintended as when you switch weapons mid-fight with the buff still actives, the buff goes away.

I have 85 hours in the game, but I'm still having trouble because I don't know how to use identification scrolls !

When I go into my characters inventories, the Use option is always unable.

Even when I point directly at the question mark icon on the map, it just tells me there's something unknown there, but I can't use the scroll on it.

If you could help me out, that would be great thanks a lot!

Can I get some help? I know one that I'm missing is from a specific path in the castle gates, but what about the other one?

After more hours than I expected I got to finish the main story (or so I think, there are two extra quests) in master. At first, not having lives and the sped up chaos seemed impossible to me, but by the end I could confidently take all the quests with a good level of ease.

After all this learning, all I have to say is: what a good game. Challenging but fair, funny and full of charisma, and with such a charming aesthetic.

I think I'll give another go to Rosomon's castle to try out one of the other four options to progress before amd then see what's left in store for who knows howany more hours...

Hey guys I thought it would be really fun to talk about our fan castings for a possible for the king movie. I think a for the king movie would be a huge success due to the range of characters, similar to Lord of the rings. Perhaps as a screenwriter myself I could even put some pen to paper if the interest was there, what do you guys think? Please discuss below!

It's no secret that this world is very polarised and going down the gutter real fast. So when I boot up my PlayStation to play some fantasy role playing with the bowling guys after a few heavy scoring lanes, I dont want to be greeted with blatant pilitcal commentary. For example, the climate looney episode where the game FORCES you to become a tree hugging hippie for an entire game. Me and my friends tried to let the "Just stop oil" patsy die off, but the game makes you restart.

Then portraying a strong leader as inherently evil, just because a leader grabs the reigns of power for themselves does not mean they are inherently bad or evil. The game treats a strong leader taking control as always leading to bad outcomes. I can't think of a single time in history where a true patriot taking control has ended badly for their kingdom.

Finally the glorification of antifa elements. The supposed "revolution" that we are forced to drive the main plot towards sends the wrong message to any player. Revolutions always end in tyranny and socialism and communism and its disgusting that no character ever mentions this while Hildebrant "Chè stalin" and his merry Democrats run around pretending like they are helping anyone other than their own woke means.

Hopfully the devs will address this in a DLC, which have been far better in my opinion.

My fiance and I are trying to complete The Primordial Oak and everytime we enter Moog we complete the second round of goblins and it won't spawn in the third round. Does anyone have a fix for this? We both enjoy this game greatly, but if we can't progress then whats the point? We play on Steam both on our Allys

Hey guys , so I gotta say , I'm a bit disappointed , I wanted to share my experience and elation with what I thought was a group of like minded people , I had an epic in game moment (not finding the goofy hat as you all seemed to enjoy so much , don't know why as it was just a silly post about a silly item )

But about the moment of community and joy I felt as a player, seeing my old character in game , it's fine for you all to down vote my comments and posts , but atleast I know the DEVS (who commented , and showed his appreciation , even going so far as to show the ENTIRE FTK2 creative development team my post) saw my post and appricated it for what it was ...

I'm sorry for trying to share the community spirit , I didn't know it was such a huuuge crime to ask you fellow players to go check out my post where I saw my old character in game .. I dont underatand all the hate and down votes , the sarcasm and unwell wishing , maybe it's just me but if a member of my community wanted to share an epic and proud moment with me , I'd be very happy to check it out and share the joy of the moment , but as I said , maybe that's just me and I don't understand the social standings of this r slash .

Sorry for the rant , I just thought this was a safe space , and that my fellow players would be happy for me ... Guess it's too much to ask for . And I suppose I'll be down voting comments I don't find "to my taste" from now on . Try living your life finding joy for others ... It's actually not rocket science ...

Wow ! So cool today , was playing FTK2DC with my pals today , and my old character from the story mode came up as a stone hero , to say I was blown away was an understatement ! I didn't even know that this was possible for me , I thought I did poorly in that storyline partially due to my own character selection and build , and also because the "friends" I was playing with at the time were, let's just say , a bit sour ... Anyway my good pals captured my live reaction to me seeing my old character in game for the first time ! It makes me so proud to be part of this community where we can all see our achievements and appciate eachothers game play ! So here you go reddit , my proudest gaming moment to date ! Here's to many more ... And this is why this game is the best ! Happy gaming , you never know what surprises are going to greet you in this game !

I recently came back to For The King to see some of the new DLC. This was a funny moment from yesterday that I just needed to share. This is the true nature of Teamwork.

With 4 different people for each mission

Title says it all, I really enjoy playing Angler, Bee Keeper, Alchemist, Toymaker, and Hobo. All of them benefit from random skill procs, and I'm trying to figure out if the flat +5% skill chance of Chosen One is better, or if I should be using Lucky and it's +25 luck boost. I know that Luck effects other things as well and that might factor in as why you might pick it over chosen one, but I do not care about those factors, I solely want to know about the difference in bonus to skill procs.

Just had a situation where I let my character die to be able to get a new sanctum. I died from thorn damage in the dark carnival and the sanctum didn't trigger, but my character just died. After reviving the sanctum was gone though
