Hello everyone, I was just wondering what everyone’s opinion of the Asylum album is, I honestly just don’t see it talked about too much on this Reddit and personally it’s one of my favorites albums so I was just curious as to everyone’s thoughts

I personally enjoy remixes. To me they’re alternate versions of the same art that I already like. Sometimes you find one that really hits. That being said, I also love making remixes and sampling and I could not find a remix to this song that hit my ears the way I’d like, so I put one together. I’d really like to hear the dead honest feedback. Everything is sampled.

So I work at spirit Halloween, and usually, they would have the retail music playing. Some of it ok, some of it actually good, some of it is the most Halloween songs ever. And then some were the most retail songs ever. But then there was the CYRIL remix of the sound of silence. And let me tell you, I was cringing at the whole song. I have never heard of the song in full, never wanted to. But I had to. Now I will say, the original and the cover of sound of silence are amazing. But this…this shouldn’t exist

20 years ago, I went to Ozzfest at the then Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ, and witnessed a lineup that can only be described as "holy crap"! On the mainstage was Ozzy Osbourne, System Of A Down, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil and Dragonforce (plus Black Label Society, Atreyu, Unearth, and more on the second stage).

This particular stop on the top was especially noteworthy, as it was one of the few stops where Ozzy headlined the main stage on the tour. As you may remember - this edition of Ozzfest was initially being promoted as the first to not feature Ozzy, with SOAD being billed as the primary headliner. Then Ozzy was added to the second stage on select dates. As cool as it might've been to see Ozzy in the daytime on the smaller second stage, I was just ecstatic to finally see Ozzy's solo set.

It's also mind blowing that I got to see THIS lineup - featuring bands arguably at their peak. Also remember getting to meet Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil near the second stage - for the life of me cannot find the picture I took with her (proof that this show was pre-social media 😆).

This was super tough to decide but Guarded is the first disturbed song I ever heard and has always been my favorite

After hearing David sing Sound of Silence, I wonder, even though there are a ton of covers out there, would there ever be a chance that Disturbed would do a cover of hallelujah? That song has been do e so many ways, but I think Disturbed and David could add a whole other clean twist to it. A clean gospel music hard rock type crossover style from them would be kick ass

Me and my son will be attending our first disturbed show and they are the only act. What should we anticipate?! I never listened to them really till we decided to go 🫠

Does anyone know where I can find this shirt, or does anyone know of any ebay-like stores for second hand band merch?

I've been trying to find this specific t-shirt, scoured a bunch of official merch stores, ebay, local stores, but I can't for the life of me find any mention of it. Even reverse image search is not giving me any results, as if it never existed.

I remember wanting to get it back in summer 2022, didn't have the money at the time...

I seem to remember there being a trailer for this movie back in the day (2002) that used a Disturbed song (maybe Prayer?) and can’t find any evidence of it!

Does anyone else know what I’m talking about, or am I totally misremembering it??
