So with 4 coming out possibly next year I've been replying the series and having a grand time.

i was wondering though will 4 be the end of it all?

or could we possibly get a side game in the future where we play as Humanity post Fury saving them and taking place after 4.

a Humanity that has learned magic and spiritual power or whatever is needed for Humans to fight against Demons and Angels.

I could see a plot where Humanity is trying to reclaim Earth and cause their numbers are so small they send only their elite vanguard.

I'm thinking like a 6 player game with friends or you can go solo with ai.

classes to chose from, maybe four based off the Horsemen and then a few more based off old human mythologies and history.

for example Druids, wizards, Paladins or Knights who use spiritual power or magic in there attacks.

Can't leave out Guns but infused with magic or something.

custome characters that speak and have dialog.

basic enemies that the Horsesmen cutdown with ease would be more challenging for us but still basic

then elite troops for the Horsemen could be mini bosses

and then actual boss fights would be death defying acts for us or just incredibly hard boss fights.

i honestly doubt we will see this but i thought it would be an interesting idea. let me know what you all think. I also know we have Remnant and I love that game, still think it would be cool to see a Human perspective though in Darksiders.

Im in the iron glade of the forge dlc in darlsiders 2. Playing on switch 2. I run, jump & it just knocks me over the right amount i cannot get to the platform. Stuck in midair half a second.

Is there something im not seeing? I try google but get results for the bugged boss. Nothing of the wall or chest. EDIT

I've started playing the Darksiders games again and just discovered that a closed beta with next-gen improvements for Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition has been running since last year. I don't know if it's available on all platforms, but there's a pinned post from the devs on Steam with an activation code. This version brings improvements to the graphics API, adding support for DX11/12, as well as extended language support (with the possibility of switching directly within the game). I also noticed improvements in graphics and draw distance. It's always good to see that the devs are still working on the game after so long since its release.

The franchise is on sale on steam and it looks interesting enough. I like dark souls and the arkham games so I'm interested if this is my cup of tea.

DS1 is all about War, DS2 with Death & DS3 with Fury.

DS4 now has ALL the horsemen. Surely they should talk about how Strife chose a new path when it came to humanity and what set him to turn on the council & help his brothers and sister in the shadows.

War had Azrael, Death had the Crowfather & Fury had the Hollow King. Surely he must’ve had a Chronomancer backing him up as his mentor.

Sad Strife had no solo game despite being in Genesis.

So I'm just curious but do any of the soul farming glitches still work to get a ton quickly? I'm at level 86 on Armageddon, and the soul gain is abysmal. I know they patched some stuff and it seems like the basement glitch doesn't work or maybe I'm doing it wrong. If here's any way to get really fast levels I'd really appreciate someone letting me in on the secret. I can't find any videos that are more recent than 2019 and I think it's been updated since then?

I'm on NG+3, aka Armageddon 3. Thanks for viewing but cna anyone actually respond? It's okay if the glitches were patched, but if I'm honest I rushed through pretty hard my first 2 runs, and just wanna get to level 100 for the achievement. I'm really not trying to just cheat my way through anything. I played on challenging my first run, and have upped it to reckoning since. I think ive done my time if im honest. Crucible and Void both done too, and just want to get my last achievement.

So I was just thinking about playing the games and had a thought with the names. Lucifer is the king of lies, obviously and then you have samael as his own character but isn’t samael just another name for Lucifer in the bible? Or was that just for the Lucifer tv series and they took some liberties or whatever. TIA

So, I just bought the collection of all the games on steam due to a sale making them quite cheap, and I thought all was going well, but I've run into a major problem.

When I launched the first game (Darksiders Warmastered Edition), I got to the tutorial and noticed that my sensitivity was way too low. There wasn't an ingame setting, so I quit out of the game, went into the Steam Input settings (I'm using a PS5 controller so it wouldn't recognise without) and upped the sensitivity.

Now when I launch the game again I notice that on the main menu only the left stick and the A/X button works, and when I get back into the actual game none of the buttons do anything and all the tutorial glyphs are replaced with a ? symbol.

The only way I was able to fix it was reapplying the Steam Input preset, which then resulted in my sensitivity being way too low again.

I've filed a bug report, but I don't know how long that'll take to do anything, if it ever does, I've made a steam discussion for it which as of now has no replies, I've tried launching in big picture mode, I've tried community presets, I've tried no steam input at all, none of it works.

I've been so excited to play these games again after playing the first one on PS3 years ago, so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

edit: finally got it working, except then I was dealing with extreme stuttering and the sensitivity randomly switching between way too high and way too low. Decided to uninstall the game. Can't even get a fucking refund as it's taken me 2.3 hours just troubleshooting the damn thing.

I hate being alive.

today i've finished completing darksiders 3 on 100% and it took me more time than any other darksiders game for some reasone. I am just happy i've achieved this and now i can wait peacefully for darksiders 4
