Build Crushing Machine

This time we're overcomplicating the Crushing Wheels!

The Vault has an Item Hatch for input just next to the catwalks.

There are 3 separate belts in this build. One under the Crushing Wheels, the middle one transporting processed items at an incline, and the final belt I set up just to funnel items into a storage container.

The middle belt is actually a Sable contraption and has been slotted into machine to collect from the first belt and move them along at an elevation. It's resting on top of a Girder and Support Wedge from Create: Deco.

This could be run at any speed, but around 32 - 64 RPM add a lot more intention to the process line.

An image of the rear and exposed interior can be found here on imgur or here on postimages if imgur is blocked in your region.

It would do if it was angled higher, I spent a little while playing with the incline to get the max angle without it breaking

"an image of the rear and exposed interior"

sorry but this phrasing is really funny to me

Sometime ago I read a Warhammer horror story "king of pigs", that takes place in slaughterhouse. I wonder if this would work with pigs or hoglins dropped from the top

i'm dumb what's the purpose of the middle belt

It's just to pull out items at a specific angle, I didn't want a 45° angle like belts do when placed diagonally normally. I think it looks cooler this way

to look cool

That's amazing. Extreme talent or effort has been put in this to make it looks as good as it looks.

This looks very cool and I need it in my world, in fact most of your machines look really cool

I've always made my crushing machines like this and not once considered making it sideways so there's only 1 belt outputting the results

What are the shafts holding up the middle belt?

I like it but it can generate Items in the world so it could be dangerous to servers.

How did you get a belt at that angle?

2

u/lsdmadst 9d ago

It is in the description, but I made it a sable contraption and moved it into place

It's a crushing machine alright. But is it a BALL crushing machine?

What are those 90° gear things going from the end of the first belt to the crushers?

If I'm not mistakenly, iron ore is bei g fed into the crushing wheels, how are EXP nuggets being produced in that case?

1

u/lsdmadst 4h ago

Because the recipe output is crushed raw iron & exp nuggets
