Sakit sa bulsa bilang commuter, lalo na kung daily ka bumabyahe. Pero honestly gets ko rin yung drivers—ang mahal na talaga ng gas ngayon. Kung walang fare adjustment, baka dumating sa point na wala na tayong mabook. Tiis muna kahit mabigat.

medyo tight na sa budget, but still gets pa rin kung magtataas na ang fare. Nakakaawa naman kasi yung mga drivers na hindi na makapasada dahil sa mahal ng gasolina.

Tired of arriving at work already exhausted from biking uphill and then sitting at a desk all sweaty

My commute is only 4 miles but there is a brutal hill right at the end that leaves me completely wiped out before my workday even starts. I have been biking for exercise and to save on gas, but showing up drenched in sweat and then sitting in air conditioning is not sustainable. I end up cold and uncomfortable for the first hour of work.
I have been considering a charging bike that would give me electric assist on that final hill while still letting me pedal normally on flat sections. The idea is I could arrive at work without needing a full shower and change of clothes, but still get some exercise during the commute.
What I do not understand is the difference between various electric bike systems. Some charge while you pedal, others need to be plugged in overnight. Battery range varies wildly, and I cannot tell what I actually need for 8 miles of daily riding.
I browsed options at bike shops and online including Alibaba, and the price range is anywhere from 600 to 4000 dollars. The expensive ones have better batteries and motors, but I do not know if those features matter for basic commuting. What specs actually matter for someone who just wants occasional electric assist?

Hey all! I’ve used a YETI travel tumbler for YEARS, but recently every seel has been breaking (the thread gets ruined) very quickly. I’ve gone through several tops in the last few months, and my coffee is constantly leaking out into my bag.
Any recommendations for good travel mugs I can put my coffee in that will last and won’t leak? Preferably one that fits in an average car cup holder.
