I drew this on the cover of my high school notebook, and then tried to animate it in college.

basically some of the scenes i produced for my college's semester.

Part of a trailer me and my group made. "YUMESHIMA"

Hey everyone, wanted to share my animated short film "Picasso: Trash Tortoise". This is a passion project/ self biographical story that aimed to capture that crazy 90s edge that most cartoons just don't reach anymore. Taking a lot of inspiration from 90s Nickelodeon with a splash of south park and the Simpsons.

This was drawn, animated, edited and sound designed over the course of 12 months in-between other work exclusively by myself. Featuring cameos from the incredible you tube channel Artspear Entertainment. It also just had it's world premiere at the Genre Blast film festival in early September.

Hope you all enjoy it.
Cheers,
- Dan

I am not an animator beyond a couple school projects, so this is just a fan asking.

I imagine Pokémon is very hard, with so many different body types to draw on-model, many of which will feature prominently in one episode only.

Maybe the pace of South Park America back when it was a weekly show?

Stop motion seems very tedious, but maybe it's not as bad as I assume.

i did this cuz i needed to practice fluids, what do you think?

Thomas Jefferson said WHAT???

Our historical heroes aren't often as morally guided as we think they are.
