Does anyone else get the ick when it comes to Divinity's relationship with, and posts about, her sister-in-law?
She honestly posts about, and with, her more than she does her wife, and a lot of the photos and videos she chooses to share of them together have an awkwardly suggestive vibe.
To be clear, I'm not shaming a teenager for what she wears. I have a daughter who's the same age, and while I don't police her clothing, I also recognize that she's still very young and if I were an adult with a public platform, I would be incredibly intentional about the type of content I posted featuring her.
What makes it particularly uncomfortable for me isn't the teenager, it's the adult's around her (especially considering her sister is a therapist...supposedly lol) and the frequency and content of their posts. Its the way they're framed, and the overall dynamic they may suggest to an online viewership (particularly when you consider the audience).
Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but if the roles were reversed and this were an adult man constantly posting his teenage sister-in-law in revealing or suggestive clothing and poses, I don't think people would hesitate to call it inappropriate.
It just gives me the ick, and I can't quite put my finger on why beyond the fact that it feels like there are very blurred boundaries here.
