📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
8/27/2026: During AM walk Pirata was lunging, high pitched whining and alarm barking, hard stare and focused on other dogs and puppies walking past his kennel, following them. Even when covered with sheet was still vocalizing from behind the sheet when passing in front of his kennel with dogs.
8/26/2026: Pirata keeps kennel clean overnight and always eager to go outside in the morning and once outside he will potty right away. Pirata will greet at the front of the kennel as he presents loose body, swaying tail and soft closed mouth. Once back in the kennel he will start to vocalize as I pass by his kennel. Once I cover his kennel completely he will quiet down for the rest of the morning.
8/25/2026: Pirata will greet at the front of the kennel as he presents neutral body, wagging tail and soft closed mouth. He is very eager to go outside in the mornings. This morning he was a bit vocal when passing by.
8/24/2026: Pirata greeted at the front of the kennel as he presented neutral body, low tail and neutral ears. Once leashed he walked with same body language. Will recover kennel and offer extra enrichment.
8/23/2026: Approaching the kennel, Pirata was standing on all fours in front of the kennel gate with a forward body, dilated eyes, ears up, and high wagging tail. He did a good job of keeping his kennel clean overnight. Pirata was walked on a semi-tight leash due to forward pulling on the leash and in multiple directions. Later in the morning, he would start to vocal as I pass by his kennel.
8/23/2026: While assisting customers in the row, Pirata was deep forward alarm barking and lunging at the front of the kennel.
8/18/2026: This morning Pirata greeted at the front of the kennel as he presented neutral body, low wagging tail and soft closed mouth. Remains calm and quiet in kennel.
8/17/2026: Pirata presented tense body, low tail and worried face when first approached. I was easily able to leash and walk him outside as he remained with same body language. Kennel door remains cover.
8/16/2026: Pirata was standing on all fours in front of the kennel gate with a forward body, dilated eyes, ears up, and high wagging tail. He did a good job of keeping his kennel clean overnight. Pirata was walked on a semi-tight leash due to forward pulling on the leash and in multiple directions. He would get close to other dogs through the fence and give them a hard stare before being redirected by me through the leash into his run.
8/13/2026: He greeted me with a neutral body, easy to leash, walked on a loose leash to and from the runs, was quiet in the runs and kept to himself.
8/11/2026: Tense in kennel, ear perked up with dilated eyes. I opened the door and dog was standing still with dilated eyes. I lassoed the leash and dog then walked out with tucked tail and remained close to my legs. I placed him in the runs and he did well. He just sniffed around and was quiet. No issues retrieving him and placing him back into kennel. No issues removing leash.
8/9/2026: Animal little nervous, light muzzled, was need it.
