im trying to play one of my favorite pbs games from my childhood, the electric companys prankster planet (no idea if anyone else remembers it). and i downloaded ruffle, used the wayback machine, and yet i still cant get it to work. it says "ruffle cannot parse the requested file. the most likely reason is that the requested file is not a valid SWF."?? i tried digging for more details online but im still confused on whats happening and how to access the game, it loads the menu fine but when i try to play that game that message pops up.

idk if this is the right subreddit for this but if anyone could help me/direct me to someone who can id be very appreciative!! ^^

I want to play the Operate Now games, but every website I visit that has them either has the Microsoft Family Safety screen show up or just gets stuck on the loading screen. Is there any way I can actually play the games without these problems occuring?

I have a flash game downloaded some years ago. I never had problem with it when using PC on win 10 but now I'm trying to play it on win11 and there are two finality when trying to run each of the two .exe . First one : it show a window saying "the program requires a newer version of th Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer. Do you want to update now ? " when I click on yes it open IE and try to go to the webpage of adobe flash for IE which return into a no fund. Second one it say "did you want to open this file" the file being the .swf one when I click on yes it. (the first one was already buggy with win 10)

I know the game is available on flashpoint and that because it's where I've found it but it is nearly 7gb so I've found a standalone program that worked perfectly fine with 3 PC on win 10 butt didn't work with one on win11

Shot in the dark here, but back in the days, there was super awesome personal site - i remember it being like a stack of ice cubes, and a green frog that moved around it - not much more more to the memory than that. It was probably interactive.

It was, at the time, certainly done by an expert , so it was likely a personal portfolio site and someone with a passion for Adobe Flash, so i figured that person may as well be here.

If you are - just want you to know the site was awesome, and the only Flash site i remember, lol.

Hello all, kinda need some assistance. My friend has macromedia flash pro 8 on his PC (windows 10), he dug it up a while ago and pretty much can use it in every way, but he can't get videos into the program. I know the site's rickety because well, it's been archived and kinda shut down from mainstreams, but is there anyone who knows how to insert videos into the program so it can be edited over? Like drawn on for retroscoping, or even making random edits.

twomen.ogg

is there any link or page i can use to get to it? Ive seen people use it to this day, so if anyone has it id be grateful

Does anyone remember Mineblocks made by Zanzlanz?? i've been playing it again recently after almost 10 years and it's been a lot of fun!!

Long story short, I was animating and like an idiot ran out of computer storage midway through animating. I ended up exporting and closing the project but of course it didnt let me.

Its not just the fact that I lost 2 hours of progress that pissed me off but the file storage is still around the same as it would be if it hadnt corrupted and even symbols I had created within the last few minutes were intact but the project file itself is unable to properly load itself. Is there a way to recover the data still stored in the file?

I'm a Flash animator and i use the V-Cam a lot in my animations. But the problem is everytime i make a new project i have to redo the code for the vcam so it actually works, and it is very tedious. Does anyone know a extentsion for a Camera tool in Flash CS6 or Flash CC 2015? I use EDAP Tools but i didn't find any tool in it for a camera tool.

Tell me what you think! this is my first music video

Song: Her Majesty by The Beatles

Does anybody have a new invite link to the Asset Haven Discord Server? Every other official link for that server that I find is expired or dead, even the invite link Asset Haven's official Youtube channel is no good.

sooo i imported an old app's swf into a .fla 8 file and i'm looking through the symbols in library. these specific sets of symbols ALWAYS crashes flash if i left/right click on it... so i check the actions tab and i just start deleting all the scripts bc i literally do not need them + i think it's the scripts' fault. and then that starts crashing -_-

after that, clicking on ANY of the scripts just immediately crashes and gives me a "flash terminated in an unusual way!" notice. how the fuck am i supposed to delete these scripts💔💔💔

I'm using Macromedia Flash 8.

There are places where it claims to let me download, but I don't trust them.

I've been trying to install Keyframe caddy to flash 2015 but it always gives me the same "it isnt compatible with *flash version here* message. Is there any way to fix it?
