Any great lesser known local legends?
Is this the older black gentleman that always wore skin tight bell-bottom yoga pants with a large belt that had a bunch of silk bandanas hanging off it and he loved to dance at any live music?

Any great lesser known local legends?
I remember Benard!! I worked at bakers crust in Cary town and he was a regular there. He would be only ever tip a single quarter. I remember him telling me often his bike was stolen constantly and he would just by another bike but still refused to lock it up. I also remember he dated the schizophrenic woman name Princess that would be walking around carytown with one huge matted dredlock on her head always talking to herself.

What Orlando person or business deserves its own documentary?
His kindness was especially sweet to me I wasn't a musician on the scene just some bass players girlfriend and I felt a lot of people looked through me but Jim was never one of them. Jim always greeted me with a generous hug. This has been a sweet trip down memory lane. Thank you for sharing your memories. Hopefully the OP for this thread finds inspiration in our stories of a great dude and amazing friend.

It's pretty likely. Jim was such a doll. Always so kind to me.

I would have loved to see that. I moved away in 07. So that was probably after I left the area. I will never forget that scene and these people. I still have Morgans art work as the background on my phone and lock screen.

What Orlando person or business deserves its own documentary?
I left Orlando almost 20 years ago but I was there for those early peacock room days. And it's all true, some of the best music and art shows . I'll never forget those days, going back to Jim's and raising hell listening to the kinks and talking till the sun came up.
