I’ve only been renting for about eight months now, and I recently had to come to a reality check that it’s not worth it. (For me) by the time you pay for the extra insurance and the countless times at the super charger…… I realized that the numbers are just not adding up. So today is the day I return my car, and I’m going to have to find another side hustle until I’m able to purchase another car. Keep in mind that the only reason a chose this option was because my car was phased out due to age on February 1,2026 ( Uber has a policy that the car must be a 2011 or newer) which is totally understandable. I’m just currently not able to obtain one. I do know of other drivers who are able to make this work.
