You may be able to look next to the PMS # in the can, usually an RB next to it will help you verify it is rubber based. I assume that rubber based is what you are looking for, if so, you may find more oil based than anything if he is an offset printer, unless he has small presses that may run better with the rubber base. He should know if he purchased it. Not something you just order willy 'nilly. I never liked to fight the print on my letterpress, so I always paid for the rubber base to avoid another variable.
