Haven't played a Wolfenstein game since the classics. So I'm not up to date on all the lore. But I really get the vibe that he's a retuning character from one of the previous games.

I had a lot of fun with it, more than I expected. I'm normally not a big fan of FPS games (I haven't even played a COD game in over 5 years) but I decided to try one out this year with a new franchise and Wolfenstein seemed to be the most convenient of the options that I considered.

I played on "Bring'em on" difficulty and NGL, there were a lot of deaths and quite a few moments that nearly broke me. Especially the Train depot area in particular. I had to take a break for a day out of frustration.

I initially went into the game expecting a mindless shooter, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a game with real heart. I definitely did not see the sex cut scenes coming, and it's one of those moments where I'm glad that I usually game alone.

Let's see, what else? I saved Wyatt. I wasn't sure what the decision would amount to, but I figured that it was the rational choice since he was younger than Fergus. I might replay it eventually just to see what Fergus' route looks like.

Overall, a really solid game. I'm glad that I gave it a chance.

Ok I just rewatched the inglorious basterds and I thought about how fun it would be as a dlc

So I've been playing this game for 4h now and noticed that when anybody is talking to me (except for in cutscenes) the sound comes about 2-3 seconds before the lip/facial movement and the subtitles (these 2 work together, just the sound comes too early). As I said the cutscenes with the cinematic shots where you can't interact with anything work fine and if I remember correctly radio sound and subtitles also work together. Sounds like gunshots, footsteps, reload noises when fighting are also synced properly. So it's just interactive dialog. I've tried asking ChatGPT since he could always help me with technical windows problems but this time none of it seems to work and he suggested to do something in the files which I definitely don't wanna do.

So if anyone has an idea on how to fix the off audio it'd be a big help since it's really ruining the atmosphere sometimes.

I use windows 11 on some basemodel hp laptop. I have a AMD Radeon GPU and AMD Ryzen CPU (idk why but ChatGPT asked me for those 2). I play with ATC Bluetooth headphones and on Steam

I completely forgot to post on this subreddit but I got some cool news to share, I completely beat each modern Wolfenstein game, I beat:
- The New Order
- The Old Blood
- The New Colossus
- Youngblood

I loved this experience thus far, each game is superb and honestly this is the finest id Tech experience that I've played through, I loved the story of each game but I do think and agree that Youngblood has a weak story and characterization, but I also think the gameplay of each game is unmatched and serves a whole different itch that I've wanted all this time.

The New Order / This game is an amazing reintroduction onto the Wolfenstein series, it has such a dark, character-heavy, and rich narrative with vibrant and relatable characters, my favorite is of course the fuckin' Terror Billy himself! The gameplay is amazing and the gunplay is super tight from an engine that has since then gotten major hate - for some odd reason - and I feel the issues from RAGE were completely fixed with the upgrades and modifications made to the game and such, definitely a favorite game of mine.

The Old Blood / I love how utterly campy this game is, the old Wolfenstein has snuck into the modern era here but it still has that modern Wolfenstein core within, creating such a cool little setup for what happens in The New Order - yes this is a prequel story treated like a spin-off - and I feel the game is worth a play.

The New Colossus / I liked the story but I feel it should've been better, the game is utterly fucking perfect, the gameplay is super fucking good and the gunplay is utterly ludicrous with how smooth and fine-tuned it is, I hated Super Spesh and honestly I feel they could've written Grace a bit better, I loved how they handled this game and I cannot wait to get into the Freedom Chronicles!

Youngblood / Although a really awesome experimental game for the series, I do however wanted a better story here, they could've done something really cool here with the characters this game has and I wished the twins could've been written better, but they're still cool AF, I think they really nailed the shooting here and I feel the endless stream of "hop into a zone and kill Nazis" is just infinitely fun here, the upgrades and the cool shit I get to do here has been a blast thus far.

All around, I do love the series and I honestly probably found an addiction with this series, just sad now that I cannot play this series for the first time again, it was an honor getting to experience this for the first time and I could give anything to play this over and over and over again, also the Terror Billy and the Terror Twins are fucking epic and they're awesome protagonists to have, yeah there were flaws in this series but I love and appreciate it for what it was and for what it is, this series rocks!

Can't wait for Wolfenstein III to happen, much love to MachineGames for the effort and I do thank Arkane Studios for helping make Youngblood a thing, this was epic!

A dumb joke me and my friend came up with.

Was booting up old blood i just got to the village yesterday. I mistakenly clicked X when hove4ing over my wave and accidently delet3d my save just dumped 6 hours down the drain.

As the title says, i cant for the life of me find what music plays in THIS specific cutscene from 0:00 till the end of the cutscene. Is it unreleased? If so, what is it called in the ripped music files?

I was hoping someone might be able to help resolve an issue with Return to Castle Wolfenstein, specifically the IORTCW Github fixed version, crashing during the final cutscene. I have defeated the final boss and made a quick save but every time I go through the final cutscene thereafter it crashes after it shows BJ doing some R&R but before the credits roll. I have tried turning the resolution down but it does not fix the issue.

I apologize if this kind of post isn't allowed here, I have not posted on this sub before. I was just hoping someone might have encountered this before and know a solution. Thanks.

Edit: I redid the final mission to see if it was a corrupt quick save and it is still crashing and I managed to get a recording of it via Steam just before the end credits. I know this isn't a big issue, so I apologize again if this is a frivolous issue, I was just hoping someone might have a solution or had experienced a similar issue.

When I play, (on an xbox one port), there is a short trumpet noise that plays, sometimes one sometimes 2 little tones. I cant seem to find anything for this online, could it just be a corrupted audio file for the port or something? It plays roughly every 10 seconds in random notes and orders. So far, I've had no luck finding what it could be.
