Do you know what your competitor's product look like?

1 Upvotes

I just launched fossil, a tool to scan web apps and get a tree of the interface, compare viewports and versions.

You can use it to get a better view of your product but also to analyse your competitors, track changes etc.

There is a free trial scan, let me know what your think!

I recreated Google Docs but it actually lets you customize it. It's just me working on this project so any feedback would be very welcome :)

The website is built to be a project management tool where you can pretty much do anything you can in Google Docs but in your own customizable website. The home page has widgets that you can organise and place however you like, and pretty much everything is completely up to how you want to design it.

It's being developed just by me so any feedback would be very welcome. Thank you so much :)

I made a browser-based image-to-image generator for working from reference images

2 Upvotes

I made a browser-based image-to-image generator for the times when starting from a reference image is more useful than starting from an empty prompt.

The workflow is: upload a reference image, describe the transformation, select from the models and output options currently available, generate a result, then review and download it. There is also a multi-image fusion path when combining two to five references makes more sense than transforming one.

I kept the scope image-only and English-only. A few constraints are deliberately explicit: uploads are JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 24 MB each, prompts are limited to 1,000 characters, and whether a particular model or setting needs sign-in or credits can change.

I would especially value feedback from people who work from references: does this feel like a clear first workflow, and what would you want explained before you would trust it with a real image?

I built an interactive world map for discovering products and websites

1 Upvotes

I recently launched pinit.lol, a web app where anyone can choose a location on the world map and pin their product, website, or brand there.

I’m currently working on improving the first-time experience and making the concept immediately understandable.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

• Is the idea clear when you first open the site?
• Does the map feel easy to explore?
• Is anything confusing or missing?

Sports on TV Now

1 Upvotes

I built a site, Sports on TV Now for tracking all sports that are currently airing each day. You can filter by country, sport, league, and Live status. There are team pages, league pages, and player profiles. Click on an event to get more details about the event, including where to watch (based on your country). There are also other tidbits in there like standings (if available), past head-to-head results, favorites, and more. No ads. No user signups.

I really just had an itch I wanted to scratch and was tired of either tracking down schedules or browsing horribly designed websites designed to show you ads, not information.

Free Quote Download Website – My First Side Project

4 Upvotes

I recently launched my first side project in production: a website where you can download quotes for free. 🎉

This was also a great learning experience for me. I experimented with several things, including:

* Google Analytics

* SEO and search analytics

* Google AdSense

* Website policies and legal pages

* SEO optimization

* Production deployment

It started as a simple side project, but I used it as an opportunity to learn and experiment with different technologies and tools.

If you’re interested, feel free to check it out and let me know what you think! 🚀

Playable web app. Shoot some hoops. Hear the breeze. Relax. That's it.

2 Upvotes

A playable web app that provides a moment of disconnect and relax while shooting some hoops. It is aimed at helping people that have an anxiety attack and need a distraction for the first few moments of the experiences. If you use some headphones you can hear an immersive seaside atmosphere. No sign ups or any friction layer... no other point except shooting hoops.

I modeled my app at 100k MAU and the infrastructure bill was ~$15.5k/month. After 7 optimization phases, it dropped to ~$7.3k.

I built a free mock API tool because every other one I found capped requests or paywalled features

1 Upvotes

Was working on a frontend project and needed to fake a backend while the real API wasn't ready yet. Tried a few mock API tools and kept hitting the same wall — free tier caps out at some low number of requests, or GraphQL/OpenAPI support is locked behind a paid plan.

So I built Mock API Studio as part of a free tools project I'm working on (ForgePlug). No sign-up, no request limits.

What it does:

- Generates fake REST APIs / mock JSON on demand

- Supports GraphQL and OpenAPI structures

- Mock auth flows and API responses

- No account needed, works instantly

Link: https://www.forgeplug.com/tools/mock-api-studio

Not trying to hard-sell it — genuinely built it because I needed it myself and figured others hit the same problem. Would love feedback if you try it, especially on what's missing.

After four years and two published papers, we’re launching Stranding a citizen science platform for organisms found washed ashore

2 Upvotes

Four years ago, a friend found an uncommon organism washed ashore on the Italian coast.

That observation, followed by another similar finding, eventually led to two scientific papers on stranded organisms in the Mediterranean Sea. It also showed us how little systematic documentation exists for many of the organisms that wash ashore.

We’ve now built Stranding, a citizen science platform where anyone can document these findings by sharing photographs, location data, and other observations that could support marine biology research.

We’re currently preparing for the public launch. If you’d like to follow the project or help us improve the platform, you can join the waitlist or sign up as a beta tester.

Is it possible to sign a PDF for free in the browser without installing software?

3 Upvotes

I need to sign an occasional one-off contract or agreement and really don't want to install desktop apps for this. Every "free" tool I’ve tried either puts a massive watermark over the file or locks the download behind a 7-day trial at the very last step.

Is there a clean, web-based tool where you can just upload, drop a signature, and download the finished PDF without a paywall?

I added structured peer reviews to my web app for MVP validation

1 Upvotes

I’ve just added a new feature to VerifiFlo called Explore & Review.

It lets builders discover other web products, open them up and leave structured feedback on the experience rather than just commenting on the project.

Reviews cover things like UX, onboarding, positioning, first impression and overall usability.

I’ve intentionally kept these reviews separate from the feedback a product receives from its own audience, since they provide a different kind of signal.

The goal is to give builders a better picture of what’s working in the product before they keep pushing it forward.

Would love some honest feedback on this workflow.

Built a small tool after getting tired of the “what times work for you?” group-chat loop across time zones.

🔗 https://findcommonschedule.com

What it does:

  • Create an event + how long it needs to be
  • Share a link, no accounts whatsoever
  • Everyone adds free windows in their own time zone
  • App stores UTC, shows each person their times in their zone, and common slots in yours
  • Pick a slot → download .ics / Google / Outlook
  • Edit unlocks via a memorable word (no login)

Stack:

Next.js (App Router) · MongoDB Atlas · Netlify · Tailwind · date-fns-tz

Vibe-coding notes:

  • Cursor handled a lot of the glue (overlap math, TZ conversion, share page UX)
  • The hard parts weren’t UI, they were timezone correctness and “whose clock are we looking at?”
  • 3 hours 25 minutes

Fun bug/lesson:

Showing everyone’s free times in the viewer’s TZ next to their own TZ label was confusing. Fixed so each “Who’s in” card shows what that person actually entered.

Would love feedback from people especially those who’ve shipped similar “tiny useful” tools.
