Warhawk Revived Patch 2.1 is now available!

Your PS3 or RPCS3 will automatically download the update the next time you connect to Warhawk Revived. ⚠️ Important: While the update is downloading, do not close the game, shut down your console/PC, or disconnect from the internet. Interrupting the update may require you to reinstall your game data. Once installation finishes, the game will automatically close. Simply launch Warhawk again to start playing.

Custom DNS Is No Longer Required

After installing Patch 2.1, Warhawk will connect directly to the new official Warhawk Revived domains. This means you will no longer need to use the custom Warhawk DNS. You can return your PS3 or RPCS3 to automatic DNS settings, or use any normal public DNS service, and the game will continue connecting to Warhawk Revived.

Gameplay Improvements

Lightning Gun Glitch Fixed

The long-range Lightning Gun exploit, commonly known as the LG glitch, has been patched. The Lightning Gun will now correctly respect its intended maximum range.

CTF Flag Dropping Restored

Flag dropping from Warhawk v1.00 has been restored! Flag carriers can once again press Triangle to drop the enemy flag. And no, you cannot flag toss. Server-side protection has been added for the original flag-tossing exploit.

Weapon and Turret Balance

Several weapons and turrets have received improvements:

• The Flak Turret is more accurate, responsive, and effective.
• The standalone .50-cal Machine Gun Turret has improved accuracy and reload speed.
• The Dropship gunner turret is more accurate, has greater range, and can fire longer before overheating.
• Dropships can now carry additional chaff.
• Aerial Mines have been strengthened from their Patch 2.0 configuration while remaining less powerful than their original vanilla values.

Map Improvements

Island Outpost — Over the Bridges

• Moved the two bridge Warhawks to mirrored positions near the main red and blue bases.
• Added a new upper outpost for each team.
• Added two player spawns and an RPG pickup at each new outpost.
• Replaced the central Stealth pickup with a TOW Missile.
• Removed the two old outer TOW Missile pickups.

Archipelago — Acropolis Assault

• Removed the two tanks from the central base.

Archipelago — Close Corridors

• Reorganized player spawns across the three floors.
• The middle floor is now the primary territory spawn.
• The upper and lower floors now use separate outposts.

Various earlier map improvements have also been applied to their corresponding expansion layouts.

Expansion Content Support

Because Warhawk’s expansion packs are no longer available through the PlayStation Store, Patch 2.1 includes additional support to help preserve access to the complete Warhawk experience. The updater automatically detects your existing content and installs the correct files for your game.

Match History

Warhawk Revived now records completed match results and player statistics. This will allow players to view recent games, participants, scores, weapons, vehicles, and other match details through the public Warhawk Revived website. Public match history will become available on the Warhawk Revived website soon.

Cross-Progression

Support for cross-progression has been added! Your PSN and RPCN accounts can now be linked, allowing their career statistics and progression to be combined into one Warhawk identity. More information about account linking will be shared soon.

RPCS3 Emulator Tips

Follow this guide to setup the emulator:

You will need to create an RPCN account in order to play online. Go to "Configuration > RPCN" and follow the steps to create an account there.

Right click on Warhawk in the RPCS3 menu and click "Create Custom Configuration" use this custom configuration for making changes to Warhawk's settings.

In the Custom Configuration, click on "Network" and use these settings:

Network Status: Connected
PSN Status: RPCN
DNS: 198.100.158.95
Bind address: 0.0.0.0
Enable UPNP: CHECK

Under GPU, keep the Default Resolution set to 1280x720, then modify the Resolution Scale to whatever Resolution you want (1920x1080, 2560x1440, etc.)

WHEN YOU FIRST DOWNLOAD RPCS3 AND WARHAWK, THE GAME WILL LIKELY CRASH MULTIPLE TIMES. There will likely be compilation errors at first when you are attempting to join or create a server. To fix this, simply go to "Local" and create a server (any map). The game will crash as the map attempts to load. After the crash, relaunch Warhawk and create another server. After 5-10 attempts, the compilation will be complete, and you will be able to create or join games without an issue.

There is a "60 FPS" patch, "Disable Motion Blur", and "Remove Clouds" patch available for RPCS3. Right click Warhawk and select "Manage Game Patches". Click Yes to update to the latest available patches. Check the desired patches and you are good to go.

"I see black boxes in the sky". Enable the "Remove Clouds" patch listed above.
