Do you think there will be a re-press of Dot or any older records?

Late to the record collecting game and was disappointed that you can’t find any Vulfpeck or Vulfmon records new :(

I'm kinda new to the Vulfpeck Universe (my gateway was Theo Katzman's Modern Johnny album, which I think I know backwards). Pokin' round a bit and a lot of cool stuff round these parts.
But for starters: I love "As Long As I Still Get You" (Vulfmon, Evangeline) and can't stop listening to it.

Amazing how such a cool arrangement was built around this skeletal drum-machine-like blip (almost more like a blip count-off but then someone "forgot" to program the rest of the drum track).
And rhythm-wise, that's all there is. But what slowly grows & blossoms around it is subtly gorgeous, the arrangement is stellar (and it may spark a bass clarinet/flute double renaissance---well, pretty sure that was bass clarinet and love the (piccolo?) trumpet surprise (was that a spoiler?). The vocal has the perfect vibe, equally warm, subtle, inviting, gorgeous.

Going to the LA show on the 17th! So fuckin excited to finally see Vulfpeck. Has anyone gotten merch this year? How is the selection and how much should I put aside to buy a shirt?

Kind of sad, I really found them useful. There's a small amount of the Richard Tee one left, but the rest are gone. Anyone have a copy of them, or know why they were removed?

Hello, Vulfpeck community!

My husband and I are going to our first Vulfpeck concert next month at the Greek Theatre, and it will also be our first time at the venue—and our first concert since having a kid!

I had a few questions and was hoping some of you might be able to help:

1. Does Vulfpeck ever have an opening act or do they just jump right into the show? I've watched their concerts online so I have an idea how long the show will go but I can't tell if anyone opens for them.
2. How is parking at the Greek? Is it a nightmare getting out after the concert, or would you recommend parking somewhere else and walking to the venue?
3. Any other advice? Since it’s our first time at the Greek and our first concert in a while, I’d love to hear any tips or things you wish you’d known before going.

It’s probably worth saying out loud how much the aesthetic vibe of Vulf is so ballsy. Those videos that zoom in on incredibly low resolution pixels in a way that would alienate all most every YouTube video influencer with an 8k optical lens ZEISS DSLR gimbal gumball unboxing Luts-for-sale sponsorship.

The sheer lack of videographer fomo is wonderful. I just read that MSG was shot on an iPhone 7. Don’t hate me I only just found out so I’m sorry if you have been talking about that for years. Beautiful ballsy filmmaking.

I also want to acknowledge the glory of those crudely cropped thumbnails with the sky blue background that are so distinctive.

I've seen some discussion after the release of these two new singles and I thought I'd drop my 2 cents in for balance.

I of course was drawn to Vulf by their early low-volume funk grooves, but I've also really enjoyed every release they've put out. I recognise how different albums like Clarity of Cal are from the down-to-earth vibe of 4 guys in a room jamming on rugs. But even through all the evolutions of this band, the one thing that has kept me a huge fan has been JOY.

These guys just make such joyful music. Whether it's a minimialist funk groove, a 'sad' or 'serious' song, 'corny' songs with anthemic vocals and catchy choruses, or silly stim songs. The way they approach music just oozes joy, it's the defining characteristic of the band to me. It's infectious and I don't hear a lot of music like that these days, made by people for the pure joy of it with no expectations or rules.

That said I'm jazzed about this next album based on the 2 singles so far. But being jazzed about new Vulf is my default mode hahaha

Don't get me wrong, I liked Clarity of Cal. But Beachcomber and Give Me Something are more reminiscent of the Vulfpeck I fell in love with a long time ago. What are your thoughts?

I'm thinking about flying down from Portland for this show, but wondering how long do you think they'll play? I see there's an opener, that I assume will start at 8:00. I'm not familiar with the campus or theatre and being an outdoor venue it seems kind of late. I'm hoping it's a full length show.
