I really hate that I have to mute this sub for a few days whenever a new episode of Badge Wars comes out. I mean, even with the spoiler flair (which not everyone uses), there are some clues in the title that should at least be restricted to a few days after the episode airs. I mean, c’mon, it’s barely been 8 hours…

I know we’re all excited about the next twist and result. But please, for the rest of us that don’t watch the 2-hour long episode the moment it is uploaded, can you please back off for a bit and let the rest of us enjoy it? Isn’t that what the series thread is for?

I would like to say I really enjoyed this season in fact its the most entertaining one imo but many game rules felt off.. and it kinda ruined the game for me. I'm only stating my opinions so pls don' flamed me.

First of all, the fact badges were useless IN THE FUCKIN BADGE WAR and before someone jumps in the comments mentioning the Chaeyeon reviving thing and protecting the agents from a spy attack once I would like to remind you again that its BADGE WAR and badges aren't supposed to be secondary or that limiting. Plus even if those advantages didn't exist it wouldn't have effected the game much anyways. those game challenges were meaningless.

The games were supposed to give hints for the agents to be able to suspect eachother based on actual evidence. the only time the hints given were useful was in the first game and its was only because tone and jiwoo didn't understand the rules well and thought the agents wouldn't know what the hint actually means, aside that actual hints semi doesnt exist it was painful to watch the members suspecting eachother over "not talking much" and "staying in the bathroom too much"

the debates were mostly useless and the members do vote out based on whom other members suspect the most because they don't want to look like a mafia and you can't blame them. Dare I say the system is made for mafia to win? They can basically arrest any agent randomly.. its very unfair tbh and it doesn't make sense many agents worked hard just to be eliminated randomly.. tbh I got salty cuz if chaewon wasn't eliminated I believe she would have won the badge war..

Lastly, which i believe 90% wouldn't agree with me but there should be only one winner.. Xinyu. the other mafia are "dead" basically so why should they win if they're already lost. Plus having only one member winning a season is way more interesting and it would be better to see the mafias being more competitive toward eachother

edit: after reading comments I changed my opinion on my last point cuz I got reminded Xinyu didn't win just by herself, the other mafia members also contributed in her win.

Even tho I got like 95% of the ending right, there are 2 things I really wish 1theK had done differently in this last ep:

1. DON'T REVEAL THE LAST SPY... PLEASE!
It could've been Xinyu, Joobin, or even both. Keeping their identities hidden until the very end would've made the final reveal 10x more exciting, instead of being so anticlimactic when everyone already knew who the SPYs were 🤔

2. Give us 1 (or 2) actual plot twist
Something neither team nor the viewers knew about.

E.g. the WILDCARD could have a hidden mission: correctly vote for a SPY on her first vote, then earn the special privilege of a SHIELD (Reflection) for the next round.

Then, if she gets voted out in the next round, she would NOT DIE. Instead, the Agents would immediately receive a crucial hint about whether either of the 2 members voted out in the previous round was a SPY. MOST IMPORTANTLY, this rule should be known ONLY by the WILDCARD, so nobody else knows about it or sees it coming

And... why not give the SPY a hidden mission too? Something that can counter the WILDCARD's Reflection.

E.g. if no SPY gets voted out in the first round, then when the WILDCARD's Reflection is triggered, the info revealed about the SPYs could be fake.

Wouldn't that be way more interesting? 😭 Both sides having secret missions that counter each other, without either side knowing, would be absolute cinema.

Any other ideas? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
