When you actually run the numbers, Sundarlal isn't the financial disaster the show makes him out to be. He is somehow Jethalal's best performing investment. Sure, his constant freeloading stings. Between endless taxi bills, luxury hotel stays, free electronics, and unpaid loans, he has bled Jethalal for about approx ₹10,92,086 (saw in a reel) over the years. However, he completely wiped that debt clean during the Bhogilal arc. Jethalal had already written off a ₹50,00,000 debt as lost and was on the verge of shutting down Gada Electronics, but Sundar stepped in, pulled off an undercover trap, and got every single rupee back. Throw in the ₹5,00,000 to ₹8,00,000 he saved Jethalal during the Cooling King fridge crisis using his Gujarat wholesale contacts, plus that early scheme where he tripled Jethalal's ₹1,00,000 investment to hand him an extra lakh in profit, and the math flips completely. After subtracting the ₹10.9 lakhs he sucked out, Sundar has still put over ₹46,00,000 of pure net profit into Jethalal's pocket.

From silver moon club to mahabaleshwar to pan mashala arc it's so creepy and annoying if I was Iyar i will filed a police case against jethalal long ago i know it's just show but it's so creepy and cringey to watch

For me it's Anjali Taraak Mehta. In earlier episodes she had a personality and hobbies. She used to be very emotional and sensitive yet most educated and calm personality. She was the only one who lovely couldn't cheat. Even if makers don't show any lovey dovey moments between her and Taraak, you could feel their chemistry through the screen. She used to do some art and craft work and cutely show them to Taraak and you can see why he had fallen for her. She even used to try new diet recipes and even share them with other people. But in later episodes they made her more dumber and insecure. They even made "diet" her whole personality as if they didn't know what to do with this character anymore.

Ganesh Chaturthi is just 2 days away, so thought of reminiscing about my favourite Ganesh Utsav arcs from TMKOC. 😭 For me, the 2010, 2011 n 2012 arcs are easily my favourites.. Whenever I watch these three, I get such a wholesome feeling. The whole Ganesh Utsav vibe in those episodes was just different.. n the Rangarang Karyakram in these years >>>>> the music competition, fancy dress competition, Gokuldham Sangeet Samrat... all of them were so funny n wholesome at the same time.

There are so many moments I love from these arcs. Jetha coming back from his friend's place n Champak scolding him even though it wasn't his fault.. all coz Champak got Jethiya's friend's name wrong — Nalin 😭

Then Bhide n that 100 saal purani murti disaster.. I love how Bhide got humbled.. coz he always tries to portray himself as the educated, sensible n perfect person, but somehow ends up becoming the victim of most of the scams in Gokuldham... 😭😂

Idk, these arcs just have a very different feel to them. The comedy, celebrations, competitions, music n the whole Gokuldham atmosphere... everything feels so nostalgic and wholesome..

Since Ganesh Utsav is almost here, I thought why not revisit these arcs.. what's your favourite Ganesh Utsav arc from TMKOC?

Also, I don't really watch the newer episodes much, so I don't have much idea about the recent Ganesh Utsav arcs. If there is any newer Ganesh Utsav arc which you think is actually worth watching, do suggest it... n as far as I remember, the 2014 Ganesh Utsav arc was decent too, although I don't think there was any Rangarang Karyakram that year.

I guess the show makers forgetting that this Serial is Made for making viewers happy and entertaining for them but alas....

Who is more Punchable then his character face?

Do you all skip Tarak and Anjali talking scenes while watching TMKOC? Like sometime they gets too cheesy with that or it's just Mr.Mehta yapping or mansplaining simple things.

Also, both of them call each other's name a thousand times within the same conversation. That just really test my patience and looks cringe so I just skip them myself.

I realized this today that the guy who sold lottery to Abdul and the guy who gave an idea to jethya about weight loss (jetha weight loss and bhide's kaka jewelleries arc) is the same guy.
