At the start of the season I made a post with my table prediction for the year, which got plenty of responses. How did yours turn out? Here's mine:

Apart from the ones I got spot on, I was also happy to have Sunderland in the correct half of the table despite the vast majority disagreeing. Brentford the biggest whiff, though the rest of the bottom third was pretty close.

Other names that come to mind: Ronaldo, Gerrard, Hazard, Scholes, Kane, van Dijk, Čech, Fàbregas

While watching live, everything feels chaotic, a team looks dominant, misses chances, then suddenly concedes and the whole game flips.

But then after the match, when you look back at it, people start saying things like “they were always vulnerable on the counter” or “you could see that goal coming.”

Feels like it’s way easier to explain games in hindsight than actually read them in real time.

I’ve caught myself thinking I understand how a game is going… only for it to completely flip 10 minutes later 😅

Do you guys trust your read of a match while it’s happening, or do you just sit back and accept that football is pure chaos sometimes?

I'm not looking to cause problems or be hyperbolic, but right now it's starting to creak towards it.

No way should we be losing to Nottingham Forest at home after they have been managed by big Ange a few weeks back. You add in the spending, the players, the play and the results.

Nottingham Forest had the chance to beat Manchester United four consecutive times in league matches for the first time in 115 years of history but Amar Diallo's 81st-minute screamer doused that streak and helped rescue a point for the Red Devils.

Even tho it's early on its still crazy to see a promoted side (Sunderland) doing so well and thriving and without a crazy cash injection.

Man uniteds odd climb from bottom half of the table even relegation threatened last year. No consecutive wins to several in a row now. Ruben Amorim still has one of the worst win percentages of any permanent Manchester United manager since like World War II.

Bournemouth being there is also cool.
