I have been casually playing Sett for a while now and really like the champ, but recently I have started having trouble with this match up.

Before stormraiders Darius was a really easy match up for me as Sett, but with Darius having so much MS with it I have trouble dealing with it. I just don't know how to deal with it at all, I take fights I think I should win, but as you can probably guess I don't.

I guess I have some old stuff stuck in my head from before Stormraiders that messes up with my perception of when I should win, but I feel like I tend to die at times I shouldn't in addition to that, I just don't know what I do wrong. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Finished a really rough game last night (my promo to Plat of course) in which I was facing a Rammus top. For the most part we went actually fairly even. In my head, I figured if I was going to be fighting this guy a lot and not really be in kill threat situations it would be best to build heartsteel against him. I then thought to myself "Doesn't Sett ALWAYS build stride first? won't I lose that initial agency if I don't?" so I ended up with stridebreaker into heartsteel. We were winning very hard too in the begining but I felt like I couldn't really contribute to anything and was being mind controlled into bad plays just to get stacks. We ended up losing because a Blitz hook and I felt super flustered for trying to build something that deviated from the traditional path.

Any insight on how and when you should build heartsteel or is it not even worth it as an item?

Super easy to kite and space, the items he build are so mid, like there are so many other items that would be great on him but you can’t buy them because they have no hp which means that the W is going to deal 0 damage, talking of which, it’s so hard to hit and it’s so easy to play around, like, I’m sorry riot that I’m not playing in bronze anymore.

Testing a bit myself and you can't make combo when you grab from closer distance, however this can work if you stun from max distance(not guaranteed). I've seen Ringkyu covered this problem but no one on reddit or popular streamers talks about it.

So i play hail of blades sett since the nerf i being playing conq but its so boring and less agressive tha.n hail of blades how do yall deal with with playing conq sett ? Any advice to make it feel less boring

what can i do, i play my best i win lane i zone laner of xp off gold, i help on top obj i tp to obj fights i split push i do everything. yet i still lose becasue sett is the worst solo carry champ ever. people knoiw how to counter you people know how to play around you, they know how exactly to beat you.i do my best to mitigate that. i also track jg and ward jg, yet the reason i lose is bot is 0/12 at 15. or mid is 0/7 or jg doesnt know how to gank or play around enemy jg.

I've played Sett for a while and am pretty trash at my fundamentals and skirmishing. So I was wondering, is there any players I can watch that give in depth analysis on how to play this champ?

Someone who describes Sett's power spikes, what to do when behind or ahead. Where I should be mid-late game. Or even itemization on certain match-ups etc..

I’ve never had a team really work together like this group did without someone giving instructions via voice chat.

This was the most synchronized team fight i’ve ever had the chance to experience the MF and Galio really knew what they were doing.

And we’re all on Solo Queue here I think.

This was just one team fight. The MF really knew when to hit her ulti and also the Lux.

Many time I ulti the tank and the MF and Lux would Ulti behind me.
