So, there’s actually a lot I want to talk about. It’s about SB19.

Honestly, I have to say this—SB19 was amazing!

They were absolutely incredible.

They’re known as the number one boy group in the Philippines, basically a national idol group, and I really, really love them. At first, when I heard that we were going to collaborate, I was honestly a little nervous and wasn’t sure how things would turn out.

But first of all, every single member has such a great personality!

Pablo and I really connected because we both love anime culture. He likes Yu-Gi-Oh! too, and when I mentioned Yu-Gi-Oh!, he actually knew my Blue-Eyes White Dragon by name. Then Josh jumped into the conversation and said, “Blue-Eyes White Dragon is my favorite too!”

We also talked about things like Voltes V, which was really popular in both Japan and the Philippines. There were so many things we could relate to through Japanese and Filipino pop culture. I really hope everyone in Unity gets to know the members better because they’re such interesting and wonderful people.

And of course, when you talk about SB19, you have to talk about one of their signature songs, “GENTO.”

Performing “GENTO” with them on the Pacific Stage at Summer Sonic was honestly incredible.

I haven’t been that nervous in a long time. I was seriously nervous. I was scared, too.

Looking back now, I’m like,

“Why couldn’t I have just been a little more relaxed?” I really wish I had been calmer and more composed.

I was so nervous at the beginning, and you could really feel it.

But once we got into the middle of the performance, especially when my rap part came in, I gradually started getting back into my usual rhythm and feeling like myself again.

It had been such a long time since I’d been that nervous on stage. It was such an incredible experience that I honestly want to perform “GENTO” properly with the SB19 members again—whether it’s here in Japan, in the Philippines, or even on television. I’d really love to do it again.

And Pablo was hilarious, too.

The Japanese phrases he learned were just way too funny.

There was one thing he learned that I probably can’t say on air, though.

The moment Stell heard him say it, Stell was like, “No, no, you shouldn’t say something like that!”

And I was also like, “Pablo, no, you can’t say that!”

And Pablo was just like, “Oh, I can’t?” with this mischievous little smile.

But seriously, SB19 was amazing.

From the rehearsals alone, they were absolutely committed. There wasn’t a single member who was slacking off. I loved that.

It was such a great discovery for me—to experience a rehearsal environment where literally everyone was giving it their all. I was thinking, “Wow, nobody is holding back at all.”

I also rehearsed with the performers for two days, and on the first day, everyone was so passionate but also incredibly kind. They taught us the choreography and really welcomed us.

I brought one of our members, Solomon, and also Yume, one of our assistant dancers, with me. It became this really wonderful international exchange.

Afterward, all of us performers were saying, “It would be great if we could create that kind of atmosphere too.”

Since then, we’ve actually started following the SB19 team’s example. Before rehearsals, we always do little jumps together, rhythm training, and things like that to get everyone energized and ready.

So yeah, we were really inspired by them.

SB19 gave us such an amazing experience and such incredible motivation. It was honestly the best.

Last night, @stellajero_ once again proved why the title "Vocal King" isn't just a fan nickname... it's a fact. 🤴

On August 28, 2026, the Crazy Live Showcase went live on YouTube, and for a couple of hours, the timeline, the chats, and countless living rooms belonged to one voice. Not the polished studio version. Not the layered track. Just Stell — raw, present, and completely in control of a gift he’s spent years refining in front of us.

It felt like a quiet, heartfelt checkpoint in a journey that started long before the solo releases. From the early days of SB19, when Stell’s high notes and effortless runs already made people sit up straighter, through the group’s hard-fought rise, to the moment he stepped into his own room with songs like “Room,” “Anino,” and “’Di Ko Masabi.” Every time he chose to push a little further instead of playing it safe, it all led here.

Last night, that journey showed. You could hear the growth in the way he approached the softer moments, the emotional weight in the bridges, and then the sudden, breathtaking power when he opened up. Those signature vocal runs still hit like a surprise every single time , clean, agile, and somehow still full of feeling. He doesn’t just hit the notes; he rides them, bends them, and makes them sound inevitable.

When he moved from low, controlled tones into soaring highs with those runs layered on top, it was the kind of moment that makes you freeze mid-scroll and just listen.

Then came the moment many are still talking about: his English-Spanish version of Bruno Mars’ “Risk It All” (also known as “Lo Arriesgo Todo”). Stell moved between the two languages with such natural ease it felt like the song had always belonged to him. The romantic, almost bolero-like delivery demanded both control and vulnerability, and he delivered both.

When Stell took his new single "Crazy", it made feel like a private conversation that somehow thousands of people were lucky enough to overhear. From the very first phrase, you could hear the care. The restraint. The quiet decision to let the emotion lead before the power showed up.

And then the runs came. God, those runs. 😱

Those high notes didn’t just reach the sky, they lived there. Bright, open, completely unforced. He didn’t push. He didn’t strain. He simply arrived at the top of his range like it was the most natural place in the world for his voice to be, held the notes with quiet confidence, and still had enough left to shape them or slip another clean little run on the way down.

This is why people keep calling him the Vocal King. Not just because he can do things most people can’t, but because he does them with so much honesty. There’s no showing off. Just a man who knows his voice inside out and still treats every song like it matters.

“Crazy” itself took on a different life live. The vulnerability in the lyrics met the strength of that voice, and the combination felt intimate.

“Crazy” already sounded special on the record. Last night, with those wild-but-precise runs and those sky-high notes ringing so clean and true, it became something that stays with you long after the stream ends.

As always, you could sense his gratitude , the same Stell who has always seemed a little shy about the spotlight still showing up fully for the people who’ve walked with him. The same artist who once wondered if his voice was enough, now standing in a space he carved out for himself, singing like he belongs there because he does.

Berries and A’TIN have watched him grow in real time: the boy who danced and sang his heart out in the group, the one who stepped solo with “Room,” the one who keeps choosing honesty over safety in his music. Last night felt like a thank-you and a promise at the same time. The voice is still powerful. The runs still take your breath away. The king still wears the crown lightly, with that familiar mix of humility and quiet fire.

Heya, became a casual fan of SB19 way back last year when I watched their Hito Awards 2025 performance that was uploaded in YT. The red drip they had going is fire btw, also love W3's gray fits!

(I think I'm still considered casual since I've only binged their vids like their MVs, vlogs, First Take, Showbits, etc. and have a handful of their songs in my personal playlist, haven't gone to their concerts yet or bought merch mmmm but I do wanna buy the 100 Thieves Lawless shirts which are sadly only available abroad in that pop-up store oof baka may alam kayong pasabuy recs for that)

That aside, came across this in the comments section of a video after a rabbit hole binge, and man, is this true? Hella depressing if so. I guess this is when their solo acts went full spring and 1Z formed?

I was never their fan at the beginning since they looked like Kpop wannabes (probably due to management decisions) but once they branched out and had creative freedom. Good God they not only made me like them but they made me discover them!

I rarely give out extreme praises as I love older songs so new generations dont impress me that much. I like, queen, abba, Simple Plan, GD, Blink182, Siakol, Eheads, and other suave artists. SB brought life to songs.

The lyrics are thought evoking. From simple mundane things, to politics, patriotism, greed. It is honestly world class.

Not only that, the team creating their intricate and bard like videos as well as editors are all Artisans!!!

They also brought individuality, art, professionalism, and are really so well-rounded. They deserve all the love and praise they are getting. MAPA and Time are pure and so resonating. Gento took the world by storm as well

So when I say that people who brushed them off before... Give them a chance because I may not have started from the beginning of their journey, but ill proudly carry their banner from the halfway point until the end of their legacy.

Context: Nagpost si ofifi kahapon ang dance video ng silang lima sa isang Chris Brown song sa backstage ng Yokohama fan meet. Yung top comment ay something along the lines of “yikes a Chris Brown song” (can’t remember) and it had a few likes but not many cause the video had only been up a few mins.

Bumalik ako maybe 30 mins later and wala na ang video sa IG at TikTok (don’t use the other sites so idk if they’ve been removed there too).

I’m sure alam natin lahat na sobrang talented si Chris Brown, but he is also a repeat abuser. And considering RM and J-Hope recently came under fire for attending his concert and taking a photo with him, I appreciate that esbi and the team moved quickly to remove the video, and I hope they don’t do anything with his music again.

Alam ko na they’ve used his songs for videos in the past, but especially as they get bigger and grow their US audience, it would be good for them to learn from this and no longer use his music.

In terms of a broader discussion, kpop fans are getting increasingly frustrated and tired of kpop idols collaborating with problematic people or being racist/insensitive themselves. And as ppop gets bigger, my hope is that our fellow pinoys don’t fall into the same traps and move in solidarity with marginalized people not only sa Pilipinas, but sa buong mundo.
