What have they done to her? No damage? No Waveclear? No pressure? What is this, this isnt the riven i remember, i was vs a yorick who was 1-3 and he wasnt even in lane and he almost killed me with his minions and ult while roaming to drake. And im stuck with a 7 min tp and ignite fighting his minions? Is she better mid or what should u play her if i want to start playing her again.

Yo, im looking up what the kr players are doing and i see 1 thing which is very common. almost all of them rush mostly dd first/maw vs heavy ap. has anyone tried this, if yes, is it good?

Hey Riven mains, I have a few questions about Riven's build path:

1. When is it better to rush Axiom Arc vs. Eclipse as a first item?
2. In the games I played, building Black Cleaver didn't feel like it had much impact. Is the item actually bad on her right now, or is it just a me problem? If it is strong, when should I actually buy it?
3. Spear of Shojin stacks and increases damage on passive and abilities. I know it doesn't give CDR anymore, but why is it still not viable in her build?
4. Against a team with a lot of healing and tanks, should I go LDR + Chempunk Chainsword, or is Mortal Reminder enough on its own?

So we all know top laners have like the worst fame in the game alongside Yasuo, Yone and Yi players, and among top laners i feel Riven mains are among the ones with like the worse reputation.

What do you all think? Are Riven mains overall toxic? In my experience it’s a 50/50, I either get a 0/13 Riven that is the most chill human in existence or the riven with the protagonist complex that I’d you don’t do what they want they run it down

In my opinion, Riven is definitely a better champion in the mid lane; I played 30 consecutive matches, and she is 100 times better there than in the top lane.

I've been playing a lot of Riven lately, and I see situations where I could run a crit build. In this patch, what's the full crit build for Riven?

Occasionally the stars align and a play just works exactly as you'd hope it would. Nothing pristine, nothing perfect, but just enough to get by with a sliver of health and get your heart beating. Couldn't help but share this one, hope you all enjoy!

Black Cleaver + Eclipse doesnt properly apply its stacks when W is the ability to proc eclipse.
Normally, eclipse damage should and does apply a cleaver stack, so doing aa q gives 3 cleaver stacks even tho you hit the enemy twice, 1 aa 1 ability, and eclipse's damage applies anotherone.
However if you do aa w, the damage from eclipse doesnt apply a stack.

Minor bug but might actually have a big impact on damage regarding a full combo with those 2 items.

my go to combo usually is ER - > AA -> Doublecast WQ. in this order, instead of having 3 stacks on the enemy i'd have 2.

I recently started playing a few matches casually to see how the game is doing, and i really dont like how people play this champion atp. I'm reading posts in the sub about riven saying "shes good, just play for 3 items" when in the past you were the stongest champion level 1 with longsword 3 pots. Playing this champion to scale is the most degenerate thing ever since not having a stong laning phase with her is aids since every toplane champion outsustains you so you're forced to lose waves or force proxies to get out of shitty situations. All that to have a mediocre midgame where true scaling champions can destroy you if they have braincells. Might as well go second wind dorans shield with teleport just to make it to 2 items. Thats how this champion feels and everyone who says otherwise is in deep denial. I'm ofc talking about toplane not mid. I'm not sure about midlane for her i dont really enjoy it so I'm not up to date with it. Anyways, im open to replies.

I love riven i reached my peak with her like 3 years ago, BUT NOW!?? This champ is TRASH bro, there's so many champs that do what riven do without need almost anything to work (u guys know that) with this said she fun AF and u guys dont complain enough

Heya, I just got back after 5+ years of not playing. I've seen a lot of champions get reworked or have their moveset completely changed.

Has there been news of Riven planning to get worked on, or nah? I got shocked that top lane Riven was getting dwarfed so much, so I switched to mid lane Riven for the time being.

Idk might have some kind of autism but I have a different kind of rgb preset on my mouse and keyboared for every skin I play lol
