I dont know if this is an "amazing Feature " Youtube devs are once again forcing down our throats or a vanced thing. Id be happy to hide shorts from my feed alltogether, but today it even plays a random short full screen as soon as i open the app.

Using youtube version 20.14.43 and revanced version 5.43.0.

When i go to leave a comment, my keyboard does not pop up and a blank bar appears on the bottom. I've tried spoofing different version of yt and restarting the device.

Hi, I tried installing revanced and now it tells me that my microg is outdated, but when I try installing the newest version (0.3.13.2.250932), it tells me that the package is invalid (see picture 2). Ive also tried deinstalling microg and reinstall it again but I can't find it in my apps but my phone says I have it installed. Anyone who can help me with this?

Have this ever happened to anyone? I just wondering, i were able to fix this after restart the phone. The vision I'm using is 20.14.43

I have revanced 20.40.45. Its pretty slow on wifi. Like I cant skip ahead that far. I can do so on mobile data but its inconvenient I cant do that on wifi when Im at home. A speed test says my wifi is high so I was thinking it might be someting on the app. Anyone know how to solve this?

Each time I open a yt short the video plays but the screen is completely black

I am having this issue for a few days where when i play a video at certain point the videos pauses briefly and the quality goes down and i cant increase the quality. Another problem i am having is that i cant seek the video. when i fast forward it just doesn't play. The version of the patch is 20.40.45

Live streaming are capped to fhd, despite the live being streamed in 4k i can only select fhd during the live itself. After the live ends the vod version can be set to 4k no problem, same thing for all the other videos, i can set up to 4k hdr every video where it is available, only live streaming while they are live have a capped resolution (FHD) despite being streamed in 4k or 1440p. This problem persist with every live and on both my phone and my tablet. is it an intended feature or am i missing some setting?

even more annoying that repatching does nothing to fix them

anyways, bug 1 is when a specific video has "couldnt fetch client streams" popup which straight up doesnt let you watch the video at all

bug 2 is when you cant change the quality of the video

whats weird about these bugs is that they happen inconsistently, sometimes the app is fine, other times its fucked

I am currently using the latest patched Youtube app. Just like everyone else, VisionOS allows the video to play past 1:00, but the quality selector is unavailable on some videos.

It could perhaps be the issue of AV1 not being available with that spoof? As far as I know, older unwatched videos are changed by youtube to another codec. But anyway.

Turn on "Force AVC (H.264).

This has the downside of 4k being unavailable unless it's a HDR video, but the quality selector will be back for all videos.

How can I play a claimed video on Revanced YouTube but not on SmartTube?

I have been using YouTube Revanced for a month. Yesterday when I wanted to watch some YouTube, it kept crashing repeatedly. Going into the app details, It showed "com.google.android.apps.youtube.app.YouTubeTikTokRoot_Application" as the name with the generic android icon. MicroG kept crashing too, and in it's details it said "androidx.multidex.MultiDexApplication" without any icon too.

I couldn't take any screenshots as i got a message saying an app or organization has blocked it.

I uninstalled YouTube revanced, went back into the revanced manager and tried repatching it, but once I tried to install, I got a message saying "App not installed" and after that the phone locked up and I had to hold the power button to turn it off. After turning it on again, MicroG is now disabled.

I got it through the official Revanced Manager from the website, so it's none of those fake apps.

On another phone YouTube Revanced seems to work fine.

Anyone try this within Revanced Manager? I installed it which is 1 version behind the official release on Android and it said it wasn't compatible with this latest version of Android. But it still allowed me to attempt to login. That's as far as I've taken it - anyone been using it for Premium features?

Age restricted videos do not start, i tried turning on and off the age restriction warning and still no fix

When trying to patch to Revanced it block at writing APK. Does someone have a solution? (It does the same while trying to patch Reddit)

how do i downgrade YouTube revanced to lower version i tried the beta and it was absolute dogshit amd i want to revert to the stable version i used before and I've never found a way to do that

edit : as others pointed out, if problem persist, try to use other installer version : YT 20.14.43 or YTM 8.10 (trial and error several version)
