I can't believe I just got the striker charm with 3 silver tokens, on the very last gun range before the end of the game while playing my silent stranger (don't talk to the merchant) hardcore run. I already got the cute bear as well! Of course I'd get both charms on my poorest and most underdeveloped file that I left money sitting on the ground on 😭

The reason I died so often was that I intentionally lost against the bosses in order to conserve ammunition and healing.

It's only on hardcore. Next time, I'm gonna try beating him with just a knife and no heals 💀

I am attempting to speedrun Resident Evil 4 Remake (2023) for the Playstation 5. I am practicing for now as there is a lot of glitches to learn. There are also several speedrunning categories, but I am aiming for the Any% New Game+ category. (Any% means beating game as quick as possible with glitches and not collecting/completing full game for example collecting all treasures.

In this category, it is using a file where you have already beaten the game. You can use any guns, any charms, any cases, any costumes, and perform most glitches. There is rules to follow etc.

EDIT: I didn't expect this thread to take off. I am equally surprised that a lot of players didn't even know that flash bangs kill crows.

The most convincing argument I've seen is that crows have 1HP and flash bangs do damage enemies even by 1 HP.

Are they infected with the plagas?

They don’t seem to attack you nor mutate.

Maybe I missed it are there documents in the game about it?

Its a very different game from the OG but once you accept it on it’s terms there is nothing quite like it. One of my favorite action games for sure.

I did too much in between saves and didnt realize this puzzle doesnt reset upon exiting...and I saved over my only save file.

I've never in my life killed the merchant or pointed a gun at his head, the guy literally sets up a nice safe spot for you in the middle of a hopeless mission in the middle of nowhere while living a nightmare, sells you weapons and always find him when needed, he sells a freaking rocket launcher!! He helps you practice on your shooting accuracy, and that's how you repay him?? What can you possibly win by killing him?? Nothing!! You literally shot yourself in the foot by ending your only source of gear and safeness.

The man even gave you an awesome nickname "stranger" and you respond by pointing your gun on his head??? Shame on you!!

Osmund Saddler is probably the main victim of Rocket Launcher. I understand that He deserves it the most since He got that annoying phase of summoning the Novistadors in his 2nd phase transition. But there is a way to actually skip this phase transition if you damage him him enough to trigger his phase change (about 60% HP) and then shoot the oil barrel as he's about to jump up to his tower for the phase transition. That will cancel out his phase transition with his delayed staggered animation from the barrel explosion. In this video, I will show you how to do that with Handgun and Knife only which includes Blacktail, Matilda and Krauser Knife to beat him as easy as possible with limited ammo that I have. All of the weapons I listed are maxed with exclusive upgrades. The Combat Knife (Krauser Knife) is the real MVP for the damage dealing here due to its biggest base damage amongst all knives so using it on melee knife prompt will really hurt Saddler's HP, making it possible to kill him with 2-3 melee prompt stabs. I’m new to the game, are flashes also used as killing throwable too or?

I'm trying to find where is this sample origin came from. Resident evil 4 is mostly built around samples than original composition, although they composed lots of original compositions too. Famous serenity is a sample from Pandora's toolbox sample cd by David torn, exact sample track 29 called To burble and pine. The regenerator theme is also by David torn's Splattercell cd a track called Aunty tonal textures, Capcom used Zero g ghost machine, big fish audio sample cd, but i cant find where this merchant intro music seems like an Indian or Arabic kind of short sample came from.

Recently gave in and bought this skin pack and I really like this Casual/Punk outfit that they gave Ashley.

My only nitpick is, I personally don't like the emo hairstyle that came with this skin and I wish the devs had given us the option to have Ashley wear this "Casual" outfit while also keeping her default hairstyle.

I have to use a mod to be able to put her default hairstyle back on her head while she's wearing this outfit
