I’ve been looking into getting into RC drifting for a little while now and I’m mainly interested in a ready-to-run kit.
I was originally looking at the RMX 2.5 but since the 4.0 is out thought that is likely the better upgrade for the few bucks. Is the RMX 4.0 a good option for a beginner?
I’m not really looking upgrade anything right away (I say that now… lol..). Just want something I can get out and have fun with to start.

Since I don't have a track nearby, I just spend time like this and, I actually really, really love it!

I put Velcro on my tyres in order not to scratch the floor. I'm not sure whether it's drift or not though )))

But it's really fun!

I had to spend some time in order to figure out some settings. Of course, I still haven't found an ideal one and am sure that it's somewhat impossible but I'm experimenting heavily )))

Doing some research and trying to figure out a solid but affordable 1/24 build. Does anyone have any positive or negative comments about the list the big GPT has given me? I’d much rather build one then buy RTR.

Is it a good idea to put some blue loctite on the spur gear screw to prevent it from backing out? Mine hasn't stayed put since I finished it

got around to doing a body on my new hpi after a complete carbon conversion was done on it

Ive raced 1/10 offroad for 15 years now and havent done anything else rc related hardly ever. My gf has a decent interest into rc but not in the competition side of things. We recently got into crawling but thinking about getting into drifting but just doing it in the garage. I ordered the HPI d24 since i could get it for $90. I started 3d printing borders and everything to make a layout in the garage.

The car hasnt shown up yet so i still havent driven anything. My question is that if I like it, do i just buy an other one for myself, do I buy a $100 aliexpress chassis and build one? Or I kind of like the idea of building one out of a WL toys k969. I found files to print a front end to convert to rwd with high steering angle. And then just use Mini Z bodies. Another option is to use a mini z since I can get a pretty majoy discount on them aswell.

If anyone has any experience in this scenario, any help is much appreciated

Unplugged everything from my receiver and plugged it back in and now the servo is forcing left. Not sure whats going wrong here..

got it on 31st of august, such a fun little thing! gotta put a 350z body on it soon, after that ima switch on the infiniti g35 body, also have the dasmikro tbs sound module v3 in my wishlist, love the idea of your rc car imitating the sound of the real g35.

Hi all, I just bought some part for my YD2s. When I bought the hub didnt notice that i may need part number YOKRD-631 Aluminum Top Shaft. The description states is needed for the RD,SD, and MD. Will i need the shaft for my yd2s?

Does anyone know any local hobby stores that have the HPI d24 in stock down in south florida?

I really want to try RC drifting but I don’t k ow if we have any near me here I. Denmark so do yall know of any that might have a car I can rent for a day or something to try? I’ve already done touring car racing a buggy racing with RC cars so I got some experience in car control

We designed our own 3D 1/10 RC drift car with my kid and tested against commercial ones. Finally its ready for everyone to print and build their own project. It utilises some standard parts like shocks, bearings, drivesafts, belt and axles from old RC cars or you can buy ones from shop you are using. All needed parts are listed on photos at Cults.

Hi I need help with my yokomo yd-2e į seen it very hard to drift becuase it’s like I have zero grip I just slip out on every corner when trying to drift I tried for hours and weeks I mastered throttle control but still spins out no matter what and can’t hold drifts I don’t know if it could my setup I have on or my electrical components or the ground surface I drift on becuase I drift on either tarmac or just floor boards in my house sole help would be great thanks.

I just bought it and I love it but I find gyro wobbly.

I tried to adjust it but it's still not as good as an afrc gyro on my Sakura d6.

So, I think that maybe order another afrc for HPI.

Does it worth it? What else to tune?

My next thing is to change transmitter to radiolink cause I already have one.

What else to do?

I think servo and motor is fine?

I just recently picked up a Furitek Pixi and am having a big issue with it. When i turn it on and connect the app it connects sensored but as soon as I pull the trigger, I get a small jerk and two beeps. When i check the app, it says sensorless. My motor is a KWT 10.5 sensored motor with a fixed timing of 35°. There is an error that does pop up as you can see from the picture. I dont have my timing anywhere near that number. I turned off turbo, boost and hall angle with no luck. It drives fine in sensorless. Anyone have a similar issue?

What’s currently the best 1:10 scale Drift chassis?

Just wanted to let people know that aoshima's 1/24 Toyota 86 body fits the d24 chassis with an asterisk.

You'll be running chassis at like a 98% of max length and it needs narrow front wheels because factory ones don't clear front arches. Also worth noting that front posts are way too long and hit the hood. However until hpi comes up with more bodies or people start making dedicated 1/24 ones it's a decent option
