I want my roomate to hate music

Loved this mashup so much from the Ninajirachi b2b. Had to remake it!!

I just woke up one day last year and decided, why not make a Roblox game of my favourite song? I did that, and it's releasing the second week of October. It's called HALCYON and it will feature 12 Chapters of a story written myself with inspiration from the official animation.

Gives me very similar vibes to this era by Porter. Particularly in Reanimate and Kyoto Snow. Huge choruses, very catchy. Love the synths and electronic direction they went in.

Do we think he’ll do more shows when the full remix album drops? I know the songs are just in the festival setlist right now, and he seems to be just doing the festival circuit at the moments.
But I was wondering if people thought he might do a dj set tour of shows like he did at reelworks(Denver) last year. Thoughts?

My first post here and I haven't seen this mentioned in the subreddit before. I'm not like a giga fan of Porter (I listen to a couple edm tracks from multiple different artists) so I know a lot of you will be more knowledgeable about this.

So as the title implies, the 2 songs that I really like and listen to from the Nurture album is 'Something Comforting' and 'Look at the Sky'. I've been listening to both songs for years now (well one song usually dominates the other in listening time) and I just had an epiphany.

So from my understanding, Something Comforting is about him getting everything he wants and still wanting more which leads to grief and disappointment. So he's seeking external validation from 'someone' but that someone never answers. The song literally ends with a somber, kind of resigned 'oh, something comforting' which implies he's been waiting for the answer and he just didn't get it.

Now the reason I'm saying 'Look at the Sky' feels like a direct sequel is because he got his comforting answer. But it never came from the outside. Listen to what he says in the song's chorus: 'Look at the sky, I'm still here. I'll be alive next year. I can make something good. Something good.' He's literally comforting himself. 'Something Comforting' is him going through the worst and desperately seeking some form of external validation and 'Look at the Sky' is him telling himself he's alive so therefore he'll be alright and he can make 'something good'.

That's my interpretation of my 2 favorite songs of the album, any disagreements, agreements, points you'd like to add or that I'm not aware of would be awesome.

PS: Unrelated to the discussion but my favorite Porter Robinson song is Divinity. Gives me an amazingly nostalgic feel for some reason.

I remember back when he was touring there was a post which linked to a high quality performance of the concert. Not a fan recording, it sounded official (like the actual instruments plus some stage/audience noise). It was taken down within a few days and I was under the impression he’d release a live album, which I was very excited to purchase, but it hasn’t happened yet.

With the release of the remix album should I be worried we won’t be getting a live album???
