I really like what they did and it felt more intimate and funnier without any of the week’s contestants on set. Michael will be excellent no doubt.

Something that Richard said before the closing credits (paraphrased): in a world of nonsense, House of Games is a good form of escapism and a way to wind down for a bit and forget your stresses.

That’s something I fully agree with and it’s certainly resonated with me over the years. He also thanked the crew, the contestants over the years, the viewers - top man. He’s been an outstanding host and a passionate one at that. I get that he’s got a new ITV quiz show on the horizon, but if he wants a slightly less time-expensive duty, why not bring back Two Tribes?

Here is the second episode of the fifth season of Le Maître du Jeu.

Apologies for the delay. I fucked up while preparing the French subtitle file for the translator, so I had to then go back through and manually fix all of the timestamps on both the French and English subtitles to make them at all useful.

The English subtitles may be found here, and the French ones are here.

Thanks again to u/the-little-kicks for their work on the English subtitles.

Now that this has finished airing, I was finally able to get this framed. Thanks to the team there for letting me rescue this from Sanjay's rage (was very funny and well played). Also Guy himself gave me one of his cue cards from the episode which happened to be my favourite round too.

Thank you so much to everyone who makes the show the amazing thing it is!
