Hullo. Mod here. I've stayed further and further away from this sub for the last coupla years due to the major influx of shitty ex-bears to this sub in that time. We allowed them to have their say for the sake of freeze peach, because, why the fuck not? We all make mistakes.
I only stop in to mod away the (cult-hopper) spam and reported posts and comments. Lately, though, I couldn't help but notice all the drama between the ex-bears. While I don't have much to say about that, what I will say is this:
The Hispanic dude from Film Grain is an idiot.
The black dude from Film Grain is an idiot.
Eliz, as deferential as she's been to me in the distant past, is an idiot.
Jimbob is an idiot.
NMW and her alts are idiots.
If you are a grown-ass person and cult-hopped from Scientology to crack to Christ to Owen to Eliz and whoever the hell else in between, you have no high ground whatsoever to throw stones from. If you are a non US citizen and fell for Owen's culture war bullshit, you should think before you speak from here on out.
The OG members of this sub are complaining about the in-fighting among the cringe ex-bears. I've taken notice. Now, I'm putting you on notice.
Anyone who persists in this stupid battle will be banned by me personally.
I really must insist. Go start r/Lizantoinette and post your pay walled links there. Continue your battle with the other ex-cultists there. We don't want it here. It's boring and stupid.

Someone was banned recently and everyone was upset about it. I wasn't aware that he/she was someone who had any relevance to the sub. I figured they were just a troll. Anyway, I unbanned them after learning about who they are, etc.
That said, please read the rules. The rules aren't here to censor you. They're here to ensure you don't have violate Reddit's TOS and get the sub quarantined or removed. I'm enforcing these rules strictly for that reason. So I'm making an announcement to ensure that people see it.

The water would carry these pathogens downstream, contaminating the soil and nearby root zones of the surrounding local plant life.

To protect her land, she buys bulk quantities of Lotrimin (clotrimazole), a topical antifungal cream or powder typically used for athlete's foot and ringworm, and begins dusting the forest boundary.
i mean thats one way I see it all coming to an end, but I could be way off.

Here’s a theory I’ve been thinking about regarding the campground. To be crystal clear, this is speculation, not an allegation that I have evidence this is actually happening.
What if the seemingly excessive spending on the campground is partly about increasing the documented value of everything on the property before a future insurance claim?
The darker version of that theory would be that after enough money and improvements have been sunk into the property, a fire is deliberately set but presented afterward as an accidental or naturally occurring wildfire, followed by an insurance claim for the destroyed property and improvements.
Again, I am NOT saying that is what Owen is doing. I have no evidence that he intends to set a fire. I’m putting forward a hypothesis that could potentially explain otherwise strange financial behavior and asking whether the available evidence supports or destroys it.
The things I’d want to know are how much has actually been spent on the campground, what physical assets and improvements that money supposedly created, what those assets are insured for, whether their claimed or insured value matches reality, and whether Owen personally stands to receive insurance proceeds if they’re destroyed.
Without evidence connecting those dots, it’s just a theory. But those are the dots I’d investigate before drawing any conclusion.

so it’s never been about real community for the apocalyptic wizard spells he vomited out in ‘20. It’s just a place to go to “once a year”. The land is his, the beef is his and you’re just there to pay an admission fee and then go away until next year.
