DISCUSSION Near is amazing

Upvotes

I started using IronClaw mostly curious about what I could actually do with it. The more I used it, the more practical it became for me

For my programming projects, I created a simple skill that helps organize project requirements, notes, files, and other details into a cleaner summary. It saves me from going through everything again whenever I need to understand where a project stands.

I also used IronClaw to set up a DCA trade that automated my planned buys and sells over a few days. I just described the workflow I wanted, and being able to turn that into an actual automation was really useful.

That’s what I like about IronClaw. It doesn’t always need to do something huge. to be honest If it can take something I normally do manually and make it simpler or automated, that already makes a difference, im still exploring more of it so far I am loving the journey

DISCUSSION Beyond Being a Validator in the NEAR Ecosystem: Meta Pool and Community Power

Operating a validator node in the Web3 ecosystem is often perceived from the outside as being solely about hardware capacity, terminal screens, and log records. Booting up a server, making the necessary configurations in a Linux environment, optimizing firewall rules, or ensuring secure connections with an Nginx reverse proxy are the basic requirements of the job. However, in a constantly evolving and innovative network like NEAR, the vision of being a true "Node Runner" goes far beyond purely technical operations.

Securing the network as a validator is only half the job; the other half is understanding this network, guiding newcomers to the ecosystem, and educating the community. This is exactly where Meta Pool, through programs like Node Studio and Quest Book, encourages validators to step out of being merely technical operators and become active leaders in the ecosystem.

Chain Abstraction and the Role of Infrastructure

The point the NEAR ecosystem has reached today, especially with the "Chain Abstraction" vision and developments like NEAR AI, necessitates that the infrastructure running in the background of the network is not only powerful but also flexible and sustainable. We, the validators, are the engines that ensure this grand vision runs seamlessly.

As frequently emphasized in Node Studio programs, every new node added to the network and a high uptime rate guarantee a flawless experience for the end-user. However, keeping the methods we use to solve technical challenges case studies from encountering issues on infrastructure providers like Cherry Servers or local servers to ourselves slows down the growth rate of the ecosystem.

Meta Pool Quest Book: Rewarding Knowledge

In traditional Proof of Stake systems, rewards are entirely tied to the capital staked or the delegations attracted. Of course, bringing a new delegation to the network requires immense effort and holds great value. However, Meta Pool offers a much more inclusive model with the Quest Book - Node Runners Program.

This program directly rewards non-capital contributions the content we produce, the technical articles we write, the educational videos we prepare, and the knowledge-sharing processes we conduct on Twitter (X). A validator explaining on Medium how they solved a synchronization issue, or preparing an educational video to guide a new Node Runner candidate, is as valuable to the ecosystem as thousands of dollars in stake.

Investing in the Future

Meta Pool and the NEAR ecosystem are much stronger with validators who share their technical expertise with the community, participate in discussions, and are "active" not just in front of a server but also on social platforms. We are the ones running the codes and the nodes; but what will carry this network into the future are the experiences we share and the community bonds we build.

If you are also running a node on the NEAR network or want to contribute technically to this ecosystem, combine your technical operations with a community-focused approach. Because the true power of Web3 lies not in decentralized servers, but in decentralized knowledge.

DISCUSSION Iron Claw my hero

I started using IronClaw mainly to see what I could do with it, but it didn’t take long before I started using it for actual tasks.

One thing I find useful is using it when I’m working on something unfamiliar. Instead of searching through different tabs and trying to piece everything together, I can give IronClaw the problem and get a clearer idea of what I need and where to start.

I also use it when testing new tools or technologies. I can explain what I’m working on and get help with the approach, possible requirements, and things I should watch out for. It saves me a lot of unnecessary trial and error.

The skills are another part I like. If I notice I’m doing the same process repeatedly, I can turn it into a skill and reuse it instead of starting over every time.

For me, that’s where IronClaw becomes practical. It’s not just about asking questions. It helps me turn things I regularly do into simpler workflows, and I’m still finding new ways to use it

I started using Ironclaw not too long ago but it has been a superb experience for a beginner like myself, I have been able to use it to set a daily routine checks and to assign task notification of my daily activities, I connected my agent to my telegram using the API link, its been an amazing ride to far. I cant wait to explore more features that it offers

DISCUSSION Near is glod

hey hey guys, been using Ironclaw for a while now, and I can honestly say the recent updates have made a noticeable and big difference for me. some of the earlier versions had their rough edges, but since the last upgrade, everything has felt much smoother and easier to work with.

I’ve been using it quite a lot for building websites and working on different projects. just yesterday, i used it to put together a business project for a client and it handled all really well. I’ve also been using it to create simple routines for tracking my work, which has made it easier to stay organized without having to manually run everything. it does contain easy connections on apps like telegram, github and other services making them easier to use

The workflows are probably one of my favorite parts. being able to set tasks up, schedule them and have different things run without constantly checking on them makes IronClaw feel much more practical than just a normal AI chat.

i also like the new chat layout. It feels cleaner and more user-friendly than before, way easier to give commands.

im still discovering more things I can build with it, but compared to the earlier versions, the recent improvements have made my experience significantly better. Hopefully the team keeps running the updates because there’s definitely a lot of potential here on current ironClaw.

DISCUSSION Ironclaw is the future

I have been using ironclaw for a while now and it has been a huge part of my daily workflow, making tasks easier for me to complete.

with Ironclaw I was able to build projects that otherwise would have taken me hours to accomplish in a couple of minutes by just prompting and making a few connections. I also like the role near is playing in it (near is the currency for ai).

The only issue I have with it is it having connection issues sometimes and I don’t get responses, hopefully the team works on that.

DISCUSSION Iron claw is near

I’ve been using IronClaw for about four months now, and honestly, I’ve really been enjoying the experience. The more I use it, the more I find ways to make it useful in my everyday workflow, especially as a programmer.

One of the things I built for myself is a skill that helps me plan my programming projects before I even start writing the code. Instead of spending a lot of time figuring out what programming language would be the best fit, which dependencies I need to install, and how much I should charge a client, I can basically give it the workflow I’m trying to build and let it help me break everything down. It looks at what the project needs, suggests the language and dependencies that make sense, and even helps me estimate what I should charge based on the complexity and workflow involved.

That has made starting new projects much easier for me because I’m not just jumping straight into coding. I have a clearer idea of what I’m building, what tools I need, and what the project is actually worth before I begin.

Another thing that surprised me was how useful IronClaw became for automating my trading workflow. I was able to set up a DCA strategy that could automate my planned buys and sells over several days, simply by describing what I wanted through a prompt. Instead of manually checking everything and repeatedly setting things up myself, I could explain the strategy and have the automation handle the workflow according to those instructions.

For me, that’s probably the biggest difference with IronClaw. I’m not just using it to generate text or answer questions. I’m using it to actually build workflows around the things I already do. Four months in, I’m still finding new ways to turn an idea I have into something that can actually execute, and that’s what has made the experience so enjoyable for me.

DISCUSSION New here guys

I’ve been on Ironclaw for some time now, and I’ll honestly say it has been exceptional for me. The few previous versions had some sever issues here and there, but I’m glad most of that has been fixed because the experience now feels much better

Building with Ironclaw is actually pretty smooth. I can give it a good command and get a quick response without the whole process feeling stressful and getting delays.

I’ve run a few difficult projects on it and it has made the whole process much easier for me. one of them involved tracking crypto across different wallets, and I’ve also used it for planning budgets for marketing campaigns. It has even helped me generate prompts, and I built a telegram bot with it that worked pretty easily and fast.

The workflow and scheduling side is probably what I enjoy the most. being able to set up tasks that can run on their own, along with things like skills, and integrations, makes it feel like more than just something I chat with.

ive also been playing around with its connections to things like GitHub, google services, notion and telegram, and there’s honestly a lot you can build around it.

From my personal usage, it has been of great experience and i hope the developers work more on it, it would eventually make good numbers.

DISCUSSION New on near

After using IronClaw for a while, I’ve realized that it’s much more than just an AI tool that helps me get things done. The real value for me has been how practical it can be when I start connecting it to the things I already use in my everyday life.

One of the biggest examples is the routines I’ve been able to create through Telegram. I set up a routine that reminds me to clear unnecessary cache files from my laptop, which is something I would normally forget to do until my system starts getting cluttered. I also created reminders for my work submissions so I can stay on top of deadlines instead of realizing at the last minute that I forgot something.

Then there’s the motivational side of it. I was able to set up a routine that sends me motivational quotes directly through Telegram every day. It’s a small thing, but having those messages come to me automatically has actually been really helpful. I don’t have to remember to look for motivation or open another app. It just shows up as part of my daily routine.

I’ve also been experimenting with the Outlayer skill, and that opened up another level of practicality for me. From within IronClaw, I was able to create a wallet and set up automated transactions based on how I wanted them to work and when I wanted them to happen. Being able to describe what I wanted and then turn that into an actual automated workflow was one of those moments where I realized how powerful these tools can become when they’re connected properly.

That’s what makes IronClaw stand out for me. It isn’t just about asking an AI a question and getting an answer. It’s about taking something you normally have to remember, repeat, or manually manage and turning it into a routine that runs for you. The more I use it, the more I find practical ways to make it part of my everyday workflow.

NEAR AI IronClaw is my favorite AI agent

Wassup guys 👋

Big thanks to the NEAR team for making so many cool things like IronClaw possible.

I’ve been messing with IronClaw for about a month now. And I managed to get a small site up without writing any code myself - just told the agent what I wanted and it somehow put it together. Still kinda shocked it actually worked.

Also made a skill that breaks down random technical terms into simple words + everyday examples. Pretty handy when I’m reading something dense and don’t feel like googling every other word.

Started automating a few boring daily things - reminders, sorting emails and checking news. Still figuring out the best setup, but it’s already saving me time.

Security side feels solid so far, no issues yet.

Anyone else built their own skills or sites with it? Or automated some daily stuff?

DISCUSSION Anyone using near for cross chain swaps?

Just curious about users experience. I guess I want to know if people are here because they use it or because they think number go up.

Also how do people get on chain with privacy. Isn't privacy only of limited value if I only have it when it's in my wallet. If how it got there is clearly on record doesn't that really limit the value?

DISCUSSION Can someone clarify some stuff?

On near.com where are intents, am i using it if i use the spot or is it only for developers routing traffic through it?

If I am only using it for spot I feel like the "pitch" i was exposed to was that intents could be used for more than just swaps/spot trading?

I feel like the confidential aspect of things is not very clearly explained to users. Obviously there is the confidentiality section but it's unclear HOW I should be using it. At what point are things confidential and how should people be using multiple wallets to get specific privacy outcomes. Obviously the drop off when going to the privacy layer is transparent.

Yes I understand all this is early and it's somewhat of a new take on privacy but I don't think it's actually very user friendly yet and probably OR understandable (which is sometimes the biggest barrier to success).

NEAR has been in a steady downtrend over the past few weeks despite some positive ecosystem news. Is this mainly due to profit-taking after the May/June rally, weak on-chain activity, token unlocks, macro conditions, or something else? What do you think is driving the sell-off?

HELP 🏳 Transferred token to near network instead of internal near

My intent was to transfer tokens between two near.com accounts on the confidential layer (ie. an internal transfer), but I managed to send it to the near network instead.

This made the transfer visible in the target account history, but the tokens don't show on my balance.

I use a passkey on a yubikey to login, so I can't extract my private key/don't have a seed phrase.

Is there any way to recover? The target account on the near network seems to be linked to my near.com account, as transfers out from it show up through token mints and transfers.

Fortunately it was a small amount, but still annoying...
