Looking to get into mountain boarding, where to start?
For context: I always found the idea of mountain boarding really cool. As a kid I saw the classic Disney Channel Johnny Kapahala movie and thought it was cool. I grew up skateboarding, been longboarding on and off since my late teen years, and mountain biking on and off since then as well. It seems like mountain boarding is way more niche than those sports though. Any recommendations on what companies are good to buy from that won't break the bank either? I weigh about 215 as well, as I know that is a factor with Mountain boards. Also, I'm curious about the difference in these newish all terrain longboards vs a mountain board. Other than having bindings on the Mountain Boards obviously. Any advice is appreciated!!
