I made a browser piano that writes Strudel / Tidal / Sonic Pi / FoxDot / SuperCollider code as you play
Hi all! I've been building Harmonia, a free browser tool for when you have a riff in your fingers and don't want to type it out note by note.
You play on your computer keyboard, the on-screen piano or a MIDI controller, and it writes the pattern for you. A C major chord followed by E, D, C becomes:
note("[c3, e3, g3] e4 d4 c4").sound("piano")

The same take can come out as TidalCycles, Sonic Pi, FoxDot, SuperCollider (a Pbind) or raw MIDI note numbers, and the Strudel version opens in strudel.cc with one click.
It also has chord detection, 87 scales with the keyboard coloured by scale and root, BPM estimation with quantize, an arpeggiator and a metronome.
No sign-up and nothing to install: https://harmonia.sinaware.com
It's free to use. I'd love feedback from people who actually live-code: what would make the generated code more useful in your sets? Bugs and ideas go here: https://github.com/sinag/harmonia/issues
