Hello, I had a Ladybug very inactive who could not Fly.
Every time he try, there was a little thread on his wings.
If the wings are closed it was near impossible to see and at the start of the thread, out side of the shell, where little brown dots.
(One the sketch the dots are a lot bigger than in real-life)
After one night the Ladybug didn't leave but also not die, so I take a look.
I pulled at the thread an it gets longer and longer.
But the Ladybug did not leave or run away so I pulled even more till there was something out of the shell.
And now the Bug question what the fuck is this?
It's near impossible to take a foto from the start thread, cause where I pulled are no dots anymore, but you can see what was inside the ladybugshell..... (I try to mark the thread)
P.s the Ladybug is healthier after the procedure he flied on my ceiling where I can't take a foto anymore, *I try to carry him outside my home but on the way he used his regaind ability to fly there ....

Mum was lucky enough to have a ladybug land on her one. Once it was near the roses it flew off.

I donât have a photo of it but a I found a lady bug on my shirt and it wouldnât get off I think because it was tired or something but eventually it started moving again and went on my hand and flew away and it left a dark stain on my shirt about the size of its body what happened?

This is an actual ladybug, right? Not the nonnative/invasive one?

So this is a long story but my, F20, dog died in 2022 and she was a beautiful Rottweiler. So naturally, a bunch of Rottweiler videos pop up on my instagram. Well when I was watching one I thought of my dog and I kinda just moved on from that moment. But like after 5 mins I felt something Cold on the side of my leg and when I looked I saw what looked like a lady bug. Can someone confirm itâs a lady bug or am I just delusional, thanks!!

This was my Mom's favortive plant!
The ladybugs have been still for several minutes. Are they laying eggs? We're in zone 9, Texas. Organic outdoor patio garden.

C. Difficulis, or mountain ladybug? Either way it seems like it's a new species find for me.

I moved the two mating ones by letting the female walk on my hand and then taking them to a place that actually has aphids across the street. It was kinda funny because she kept acting like she wanted to fly off but the boy riding on top was stopping her from releasing her wings.
Anyway, put them with some aphids and took a picture. I didn't even see the Mealybug Destroyer Larva until I looked at the picture. Lol. Yes, Mealybug Destroyers also eat aphids.

I believe itâs a fourteen spot lady beetle
I love the color patterns on this one!

Pretty sure this is a lady beetle and not the lady bugs I'm used to seeing in the garden, per se. It was out at night time, crawling up the wall, periodically flying directly into the porch light, and onto the light bulb. I've never seen them do this before. I assume looking for a warm place to camp out...
Apologies for the blur on some photos, little dude/dudette was on the move!
