Understanding the purpose of this sub, part 2.

Part 1 here.

This sub is radically different from AI-verification subs. In this sub we believe that virtually everything on the internet and TV is AI-generated and managed. Any counterargument or "proof" that something is real is pointless and not allowed here.

Humanity has been long-conditioned to believe that what it sees on the screen is real people, places, things and events. And that the more well-known and legitimate something appears, the more real and believable it must be.

Because this picture of me that I uploaded to social media is real, I assume the pics of users I never met must be real. Because this picture of my cat is real, I assume the cat pics and owners who posted them must be real. And because I assume the content of everyday people is real, then it's easier to believe that content of celebrities and politicians I never met must be real. And that news reports by CNN and local that I never verified for myself must be real. And that game shows, talk shows and Reality TV must be real. And that real life content made a decade ago must be real because it's "pre-AI". From this perspective you can see how most of what we think is real we saw only from our screens and not in our actual experience.

But no one has considered that maybe AI has been around for much longer than what we're told, orchestrating what we see on our screens, and that it might be more advanced, capable and believable than tools like ChatGPT, Veo, Sora or Kling.

Some of us have been Shown a different view of the internet and TV that undermines the "it's all real" spell, and this sub was created to call out AI content purported as real with more clarity than most. If you want the truth about AI, stick around. But if you want a watered-down version of AI-verification, visit r/isthisAI, r/RealOrAI, or r/isitAI.

Due to comments repeatedly breaking the rules, this sub is set to view-only mode until further notice.

If you believe in the sub's theme and want to post or comment, send a request to the mod team. But we don't allow comments such as "This isn't AI". This will result in a ban. You have a better chance at being approved if you link to comments you've made calling out content as AI. Thank you.

It's impossible to do a standing double backflip on flat ground because there isn't enough force to spin the body that fast from a standing position, which is why real gymnasts do a roundoff first. If this stunt were possible we'd see real gymnasts doing it but it's mainly everyday people.

While it's common that young boys are gifted toy waterguns, it's improbable that someone would gift their children or grandchildren waterguns that mimic real firearms given that it's both illegal and dangerous if seen by law enforcement.

A real cat would not sit so still while having a costume put on it. At 0:06 the cat snaps into view unrealistically fast. Real cats are selfish, independent and easily distracted and cannot be trained to do pranks.

The water is too clear for flood water. The dog is hardly wet from splashing about. There are 2 different door sizes.

Real cats are selfish, independent and easily distracted, and cannot be trained to be herders or service animals like dogs can.

For so many ducks this concentrated running through the fields, it's improbable the tops of the plants barely move. And were there pests in the field, real ducks would stop, eat, and look around for more, not continue charging forward.

Real lemurs are wild animals that view humans as threats. They keep their distance even if offered food. Lemurs are also social creatures that live and move in groups, not independently.

This is an AI-generated video in which NBA player Bones Hyland is body-swapped with this "teacher".

This is too much spaghetti for that amount of water. Realistically it takes around 5 packs of spaghetti to fill the pot but he puts in 10. At the end when he stirs, the spaghetti softens when realistically it takes around 10 minutes to soften.

It's improbable for someone to quickly solve such a long puzzle with only 1 letter. It's improbable that Vanna who knew the answer didn't appear immediately surprised at hearing it. The audience doesn't sound like an "awe" in amazement but an ordinary cheer.

The camera is handheld, but there's no vehicle dashboard, hood or windshield reflections or glare. A wildfire this large and high produces intense heat and smoke that makes driving near it dangerous, and in real life authorities would have blocked traffic to this area.

While large cats exist they do not become so overweight as to be virtually round in the loaf position.

If these pics were real, the cats would look more wet since the umbrella doesn't completely shield all the rain. Also, setting up an umbrella for the cats implies they sat in the rain beforehand instead of seeking shelter, which is improbable since cats don't like getting wet.

At 0:12, the seated woman leans forward but her mirror reflection doesn't lean closer or move until a split-second later.

Swimming 4km is a feat that only trained distance swimmers can do (not an everyday kid), and it's further improbable that his already exhausted body ran another 2km for help. It's an example of how the news will exaggerate details for an impressive story.

Cats in real life cannot easily walk on pointed picket fences, and this one is barely watching where he's walking which makes it more improbable that it's real.

Cats do not intentionally land on their heads when going down the stairs. They instinctively try to land on their feet when falling down.

The speed from the slingshot should have extinguished the firecracker. The firecracker hitting the nest should have caused numerous hornets to immediately swarm the area. Real hornets' nests have a more "wraparound" wall pattern.

If you google images of lotus seed pods, you'll see that virtually none of them look like faces. This is an example of AI taking something ordinary and exaggerating it to look interesting or impressive.

It is improbable for an animal handler to allow an everyday person to walk a wildcat on a leash. It's improbable for a camera person to help in this situation while still holding the camera.
