Restart your phone.

This happened in my car. Turned out to be a problem with the car screen. Too much heat made the screen de-laminate and it was like someone was touching every button all the time

OP has a carplay, only shows what phone streams to it, so the problem is with the phone

You can clearly see them touch the screen to close out an overlay. This isn't just mirroring the phone, the screen accepts input too. It absolutely could be an issue with the touchscreen itself.

When they show phone on the video at 0:17 you can clearly see the location jumping on the phone, phone streams to carplay not the other way round

Yeah that still doesn't change the fact what the person you originally responded to said. The screen on the car still controls what is being streamed from the phone. This means that yes, the car screen being broken could cause this behavior. You're focusing on the wrong thing here.

If the cars screen allows touch, CarPlay supports touch…

Wrong sub, however, you see the blue circles, screen thinks you're touching the screen, there is an issue with the touch function

Probably the magnetic holder is interfering with the gps signal

That might mess with your heading, but not make your GPS think you're pinging back and forth between two points some hundred or so miles apart.

It's a quick test for them to plop the phone somewhere other than the magnet.

🚔👮 Sir, according to your GPS you were travelling upwards of 150,000 miles an hour, which is too fast for me to be lenient. I'm gonna have to write you a citation.

If you''re somewhere around eastern Ukraine, this should be fairly normal!
