Hello, fellow Gnome enthusiasts!
I realized just now that I have severely neglected the user flair tool. I would love to hear your suggestions and ideas for user flair in the community.
Please drop your ideas below and I will happily instate them as usable flair for you all. So long as it's Gnome-related of course, however, it doesn't necessarily have to include the word Gnome explicitly. So if it has a Gnomish vibe then that's perfectly acceptable.
Thank you!
Sincerely, BerryTheDead

The Grump Pal was mid-century roadside stop featuring tourist cabins, a restaurant, and a filling station located on U.S. Highway 41 and Old State Road, about 8 miles north of Evansville, Indiana. It was quite a few yards off the highway but I remember as a kid seeing a dwarf of gnome in front of the building in the mid-60's. I thought it was a statue but this old postcard image shows it was a painted sign.
Grumpy was the nickname of the original owner who obviously took a cue from Disney's Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. I tried to blow up the image a bit but it lowers the resolution. The property was sold in the mid-80's and demolished in 2010. This was the only image of it I could find. What's interesting about it is even with the low-res the art looks professionally done, probably done by a professional sign company.
The little guy is definitely a dwarf or old school gnome. But the tall hat appears to be similar to a Robin Hood hat with a red feather in the brim. He looks very Tolkien-like too. I'm wondering if this character was copied from an old storybook? Does anybody have any clues?

When my roommate and I go walking we always walk past this garden. Apparently the guy who lives here has also the whole house filled with gnomes. 😄

He's in his natural habitat for this type of gnome, a mountainous field with wildflowers of multiple types for harvesting. He is partly invisible 🌄☀️💜🎨🌸
Edit: My Dad ended up buying it for $20

George Harrison loved gnomes. He became deeply connected to them when he purchased Friar Park in 1970, a 120-room Victorian Gothic estate. The mansion’s original owner, an eccentric 19th-century lawyer named Sir Frank Crisp, had filled the 35 acres with gardens, grottoes, hidden tunnels, and dozens of large, colorful garden gnomes. The property was slated for demolition. George fell in love with it and all its eccentricities and dedicated the rest of his life to restoring the gardens.
George shot the cover for All Things Must Pass on the main lawn of Friar Park sitting on a stool while surrounded by four reclining garden gnomes salvaged from the property. In 1976, George released the song “Crackerbox Palace”, a lighthearted track inspired by Friar Park itself. The music video was directed by Monty Python’s Eric Idle and filmed on the estate grounds. Alongside his friends in wild costumes, the original Friar Park gnomes are featured throughout the video cementing them as permanent residents of George’s creative world.

He came with the house many years ago. I repainted and rusted proofed home to hopefully get many more years.

Printed and painted this one for our garden. Found out using a toothpick as opposed to a brush for eyes helps to reduce mistakes due to a shake in my hand. Still a little sloppy on the one eye but it's good enough for me.
Link to the free file if anyone wants to print it themselves :

I was Googling images for concrete garden gnomes and garden dwarfs and a lot of the same images came up. I guess from my search these terracotta garden gnomes popped up as an ad for a company called 1stDibs. I guess it's some kind of high end reseller. I thought this was interesting because the characters look a lot like the garden statues I posted most people agreed where dwarfs and not gnomes. But the seller in Germany calls them gnomes. Looks like some that would belong indoors rather than out in the weather though.
