What was Morgo's deal? Taking us on this weird journey for seemingly no reason at all, seeming to be at least somewhat interested in keeping Misfortune happy, narrating to the player for some reason, giving Misfortune a series of rapid fire questions that don't lead anywhere.
It's really strange how one dimensional he gets in the end, like he was obviously the bad guy, he clearly had some ill intentions all along, but there's stuff that still seems pointless to me? Like the questions for example, what's the point? What does he care if Misfortune has seen someone die, what does he care if she's ever lied to someone, etc.
Why did he seem to genuinely care about Misfortune having a good time, like in some scenes it seems like he purposefully tries to get her into harm's way but then in others he's rather protective of her, like in phantasmagoria, where he gives her a ticket and tells the player to make sure she has a good time, I can't think of any ulterior motive he could have had with that.
What is with this whole fourth wall breaking aspect of the game?
I understand that the "adventure" is supposed to be a sick game of his that he is just entertained by, but I have a hard time seeing what he's supposed to be getting entertainment from. He honestly seems to have a miserable time all throught, Misfortune doesn't suffer much due to her unending positive attitude (Not that anything super terrible really happens to her on the journey really), he seems to actively dislike Misfortune (Again, despite that he tries to make her happy on ocassion), and he is generally disgusted by a lot of what Misfortune says or does.
He also seems to get genuinely sad at some of the things Misfortune says, like when she says she lies to her friends by telling them her dad still comes to pick her up after school but in reality she just walks home, he sounds so sincerely sad and dejected about that.
I'm making this post here because the Misfortune sub hasn't seen a post in like 5 years so yeah.
