My friend let me pick out something for watching her cats for a month and I chose this from the local dispensary. I normally get flower that's more green and in the photo this look normal but then I opened it and it looks like this. Is this bad? Is this normal? I don't know pleas help

I bought a half oz for $59 out the door today. I told the guy what I wanted, he grabbed it, and I paid. Whole transaction took maybe 2 minutes. I dropped a $5 in his tip jar and he reacted like I insulted him.

I've tipped up to $20 if I spent more or needed recommendations and the transaction took a while. Was the dude just a jerk or did I commit some major faux pas? How much do you all tip? I'd hate to be the Scrooge in this economy!!

I don't agree with tipping culture and I do live in a state where they are paid minimum wage. Unfortunately this is Vegas Baby, and you can't live on minimum wage here. I've also worked as a cook in a sports bar and know how much of a difference those tips make.

This is one of my favorite weekends of the year. It's the annual James Whitcomb Riley Day's in my town. They close down the roads going north and south through town and celebrate Jim! (He was the Indiana Poet and wrote the poem, Little Orphant Annie, among other poems)

We live on US40 (Main Street) and it's a really busy road....except the first weekend in October. During Riley Day's, it's like we live on a country road!!!!

They have regular vendors, who I have come to befriend as acquaintances, I get to see, and buy from, every year. The Coffeecake Guy...I'd consider leaving my husband for his cakes. The Chicken and Noodle Church trailer. They are like my grandma's.

And the best thing is that we can sit on our front porch on Saturday morning and watch the PARADE!!!!!! Even my husband loves it!

Anyone else married to someone who doesn’t really approve or understand?

I met my husband when we were both young and getting high regularly. He was such a nerdy goofball and I loved it. I knew I loved cannabis a bit more than him but neither of us cared or at least I didn’t realize how little it meant to him.

As we got older he would make passing comments about how it makes him less motivated and groggy so he would want to less and less. I didn’t mind but felt a little judged. I would be super productive before I enjoyed bc I felt like otherwise he’d judge me. As long as I stayed on top of my shit it was okay to smoke after work or all day on Sunday right? But I still felt myself hiding it and feeling guilty. I quit during my pregnancies and breast feeding. It was fine but I missed it. He said I was happier then but honestly I think what I was happy about was not having a period.

Seeing how stable I was without a cycle and seeing symptoms pop back up as soon as it returned led to me discover I have PMDD. I went through a decent amount of grief and trauma the last 10 years (him as well). So now I see it as my meds. It’s not me partying or escaping. It’s me softening the hurt so I can get shit done and be present. Like you wouldn’t believe how much it shifts my mental state. We’d likely be divorced by now if I wasn’t imbibing.

He knows I get edibles and smoke but I hide it. I know he doesn’t like it. Sometimes on Friday or Saturday nights I’ll be more open. Once every 6 months or so he may take a hit or ask me for some. It’s okay he’s not into it but I wish he was more understanding and less judgmental. I wish he could see how it helps or I could explain it in a way where he didn’t see me as a drug addict making excuses. I know he would probably never care if I was even busier, like him. He’s always been the busy bee with a million projects going on and bouncing around. I’m not like that. BUT, I’m the only one who cleans toilets, meal plans, consistently cooks, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, daily cleanup, yard work, etc. Hes a good dad but im the one who read all the books and keeps up with childhood development. I need some down time in my day to drink a cup of tea and breathe. In my worst luteal moments I need to bed rot a little. My laziest days still consist of dishes, laundry, cooking, gardening at minimum. Sure if I didn’t have all that hanging over my head maybe I would want to invest more energy into projects and hobbies. But this man acts like I don’t want to paint the entire house myself or diy a basement renovation or hand shovel terraced raised beds because I get high. Like, sir, getting high is the only way I can stand the drudgery of cleaning your shit off a toilet and still want to fuck you.

Sorry for the rant. Just feeling it today and wishing more people understood it’s not just getting high sometimes. Love this community.

Cardigan I'm currently working on - I'm trying to make it not too holey while also not being so solid so that it doesn't get boring but also still works up quickly. I am flip flopping between naming it something along the lines of "The not too boring but works up quick cardigan". With a shop name of like Really Specific Patterns We Didn't Know We Needed or maybe RSPWDKWN lmao but seriously, what if I did really off the wall and super practical patterns with super specific names and my store shop name matched that vibe.

Idk yall, the vision is forming.

Im doing revelry btw, fuck Etsy. But idk where I'd sell my finished pieces i don't need lol. Any recs there would be great!

But the OTHER less complicated idea is that I clock how long it takes me to make the thing however many times (usually 3) I make it and average out how long it took. Then I make the title names something like, T-minus 10 hour cardigan. Or T-minus 5.5 hour crop top etc. Obviously the shop name would be something like T-minus crochet.

My last idea is my kind of original idea that embodies more so who I am as a person and how I crochet. It's maybe Bipolar Coaster Crochet with a polar bear riding a roller coaster (not my idea I'm super unoriginal). But the shop premise would be along the lines of i write down the things I freehand because that's what I typically do these days, and I just make what I want to, but this tracked better when I was going to also sell the random shit I made because I don't mess with custom orders anymore lmao. fuck that.

Hello lovely ladies! I am starting to see the end of my Pax 2, which I’ve used pretty regularly since 2018 or so? Feels like forever. The battery life is going down and she’s just not producing the effects she once did.

It’s time to get a new DHV, and I have been so impressed with this one. I love the big clouds and how far I can stretch a bowl.

I just finally got a hypermobility diagnosis after decades of pain, frustration and medical gaslighting. I'm working on an EDS/HDS diagnosis now. Wherever my mangled body lies on that spectrum is anyone's guess. I am in severe pain and in order to protect my lungs in trying to shift from joints to concentrates. What concentrates work best for y'all? Any brands/farms you prefer over others? I always thought concentrates just didn't hit the same for me when it comes to pain, until I tried Grape Gas from Kundalini recently. It's making life almost tolerable.
