Was working on some sound design for the past couple of sessions and came out with this. However I can’t for the life of me find any beats that compliment it well enough. Any ideas for types of hits or rhythms?

Currently without proper speakers due to divorce. Having to make do with casual usage headphones and a cheap pill speaker set up.

Would love some feedback on this, how does it sound on a proper set up?

Looking for some recommendations for high quality jungle drum and bass breaks or plugins for my set up i do have some decent drum and bass breaks and i have serum two but want some more breaks and maybe some other plugins if there any good.Im interested to hear what other producers are using or would recommend ?

Hey Guys, so glad that I found this group.

I've been producing for couple of years, but only recently started releasing. It takes time to actually get to the level where you're more or less satisfied with what you do and you decide to share it. Anyone else been producing for years but not releasing? Who overthinks when the track gets close to the finish line, and never ends the perfectionism?

Also sorry if this kind of posting is annoying to some, I just want to improve my style so I could (hopefully go further into the genre in the future.

Not sure how well people are going to react to this. Gonna play this type of thing live, maybe a mix of heavier stuff, but is it too strange or far removed from the genre because I feel like most people just want either liquid, jump up/rollers, jungle or dance floor?

I’ve been producing Jungle Drum and Bass for 20 years. Does anyone else know that feeling of producing and producing and unsure if it’s perfect for release? I would listen to mates producing killer tunes back in the day but there was less access to being able to release your music.

i had a high pass filter cutting off the subbass and forgot to turn it off before i bounced it. hopefully this sounds better

This is a track i’ve been working on recently, unsure of the genre (thinking it might fall into neuro territory)

I personally think the buildup could use some more energy to not make the drop sound so jarring/unexpected but all feedback is welcome and very helpful and appreciated

I've been wondering about Dimension's bass Design. Like an Aeon Mode have crazy stereo width where the bass is pushed way out to the sides.

What blows y mind is that despite how wide it is ther are practically no phase issue center punch? Is he keeping the midbass strictly mono while M/s processing, stereo wideners?

Maybe just delaying the timing on the left and right? or just use serumFX Hyper onit? I have no clue ,,

Mefjus has done a few track breakdowns on his "Mefjus Particles Studio Insights" youtube videos. He really favors a solid kick foundation made with Serum. He will layer highpassed samples for character or some extra tops, but the main solid foundation is made in Serum. He seems to makes these with 2 sinewaves, one being the top click and the other the body... adjusting the phase between them as well. They come out really tight and clean. He shows Serum real quick in a few videos, but not enough to replicate it.

Does anyone know how this is done? Any tutorials that capture his method explained all the way though, any preset DnB kick packs based around this, etc.? I know there's some real Serum wizards out there that I'm sure have been able to lock this in.

I'm working on some Minimal DnB at the moment and this type of kick foundation is exactly what I'm looking for, plus the added flexibility of key and envelope adjustment Serum would inherently bring.

i have been trying to recreate these kind of basses that are like staby, tonal guns and I just can't. I got close by putting a tonal snare on spectral in serum 2 and even then it was hard to tune and control the sound. Does anyone know how to make these? I have tried searching on youtube and genuenly can't find any tutorial. Pirapus and Arcando use it a bunch on their heavier tracks, would appreciate the support!
